when ever i get to chapter 25 i always get karel instead of harken. which birth month do you have to beor what are the requirnments do you need.

It all depends on which map you have. Not the birth date.

If the sum of the levels GAINED (NOT the sum of the levels themselves!) by all
of your Mages, Sisters, Monks, Shamans, and Troubadours is greater than the sum
of the levels gained by your Fighters, Swordfighters, and Mercenaries, you will
play the Kenneth map.

If it is the opposite, you will play the Julme map. (I'm not sure what happens
if they're equal.)

For the Kenneth map:
Defeat more than 3 promoted enemies (eg. Bishops, Generals, etc) by the 9th
turn to obtain Karel.
If you defeat less than 3 promoted enemies by the 9th turn, you get Haken.

For the Julme map:
If you open more than 4 doors by the 9th turn, you obtain Karel.
Open less than 4 doors by the 9th turn to get Haken.

Ummm.... actually ur wrong... You need to open 7 or more doors and Karel will apear if not then Harken will apear I think there both cool though

mine is harken! coz he have a brave sword who you can trade to others like my raven who has a good stats as a level 20 Hero! Brave Items can attack up to 4 times if the enemy is weak!

On the level that lucius and raven are locked up, have pricilia talk to raven. Then if you want lucius have raven talk to him.

Who in the bleepin you know what is Harken?! What's he like?

Well i always get karel and i dont really care but harken is a hero guy and i dont know if he's any good, but let me just say my Guy/Karel attack is great. they are both level 15 swordmasters and they just tear up brigands.

I prefer the whole raven harken combo. the two of them on the feild with the help of guy really make a good sword fighting team.

i can never get raven up to a hero, by the time i get him he is weaker then the rest of my team, so i've never tried a Karel/Guy/Raven attack.

no raven! raven is the best hero in the game better than harken coz he is under promoted and his stats is all good! my raven is the best!

If you have figured out the Arena trick and level up Raven until he hits 20 and change him into a Hero you have yourself a descent fighter. The same thing goes for Guy too. Something that I noticed is that if you level up units they will generaly be stronger than the ones that you get later in the game. Like Raven and Harken.

If it is up to me I would go with Harken in the one where you face Kenneth because in that one your Magic users levels are higher than your your Melee weapons users because you can probably you a well balanced Melee unit with good defense.

If it is the one that you fight Jerme, go for Karel because he can hit criticals with his Wo Dao like there's no tomorrow. You might sacrifice a little defense but your Melee units so to speak levels are higher.
