can you get Jaffar to join your team on the level where you gaurd ephiel[color=purple][/color]

he doesnt end up joining your team until the side quest after that, so you either just guard him and ephiel or you just rescue jaffar and wait out the level

In order to get him you must have Nino talk to him during that level. (Get her by having Eliwood talk to her) Then the side quest will open up and you'll get Jaffar

What chapter od you get Nino, and then what one do you get Jaffar?

They are both in the same chapter...I think it is twenty eight but don't hold me to it...

Jaffar has to survive? O woe is me! If only he could have survived one more turn!!! I was almost to him, I could have saved him. I think it's either 24 or 26 you can get Nono, I just finished it but I have alreay forgotten which chapter. Is this anything like Merlius when you can get him in another chapter or do I have to wait until I play it again? Well, I'm betting I'm not getting him now.... First Rath dies, now this!

the first time i played Fire Emblem i didn't know i could get Jaffar. I never got him. So you'll have to restart it to get him.

Jaffar and Nino are both on "Ch.26 Battle before Dawn," (Jafar left and Nino right)but I can't get Jaffar and Nino together. My level 20 Marcus can rescue her but the valcery's "Bolting" keeps killing Marcus. Does anyone have a strategy on how to get Jaffar with out loosing any units?

The last time I beat that level I had my thief just show the valkrie, then charged in with one of my really strong units.(at the time it was a lv. 15 general) And you don't need to rescue nino, just have eliwood talk to her, then to get to the side quest have nino talk to jaffar.

Here's what I did:

At the start of the level, I sent Marcus, Dorcas, Oswin (my three best fighters), and Priscilla (the only healer that I brought- the other group had backup for the wounded) counter-clockwise (in a Jaffar-wardly direction) and slaughtered everyone in my path. I sent the rest of my troops clockwise (in a Nino-wardly direction).

When I reached Jaffar, I had Marcus rescue him and bring him back to Merlinus. The other three returned to the rest of the group through that hall with the stairway (if Dorcas is a warrior, give him a bow to get the boots without even looking at the irritating Troubadour [sp?]).

In the main group, I had Eliwood talk to Nino and then she walked back to Merlinus. The remainder of the group crowdeded into Zephiel's room and sealed it with light runes. Done.
