I just saw the third Jaffar/Nino support convo, and... Does anyone else think Jaffar more or less getting engaged to a fourteen-year-old is a bit gross?

Jaffar is around 16 years old. Just wait until you read their special ending together.

There are certain chars that if they stand together long enough next to each other they can have the support option when they wait next to them. Check out a faq for more info. In the support convo they talk and reviel things that you wouldn't get in the main story.

At a certain point in the game you can view a reading and see which characters can support each other.

A unit's stats improve when it's next to a unit that it has supported.

Any tips on forcing support conversations with your characters? The highest level support conversation I got was a B.

The best idea I've thought of involves a lot of sitting around waiting (put the characters next to each other and wait a couple hundred turns), but there's got to be a better way.

Nino is pretty scary. She gets married at 14, and all she wants from her mom is to hold hands? She also got all excited when Sonia said she would "stroke her face". That was so scary, I haven't played it for a week since.

What's wrong with Nino wanting to have her face stroked? It's obvious that Nino wanted her 'mother's' affection, since she never had any. Although being married at 14 is very young, it was common many years ago. I think there was a time in Italy where they made a new law where girls couldn't get married until the age of 12... I'm not that sure though, but people got married around that age in Japan. If that happened during the modern times, THEN it would be disgusting, but Fire Emblem takes place in another time and world so it's probably not disgusting to them.

Nino is still scary. I know what you are talking about cause girls on the Oregon Trail got married at 12. That's scarier than Nino!

But you've probably gotten a hug from your Mom or Dad or something like that. Think if you never got your parents to say they loved you or never felt affection. Thats probably what nino wanted.

If anyone remembers, sonia did not even hold her, let alone show any affection. Nino just wants to be loved. Too bad that it has to be someone who has probably killed the equivalent of all the airplane crashes.
