This thread is to help people choose the right mounth for their tacticain. If you don't know already your mounth determines your affinity. Any chatacters in the game that have the same affinity as you get a +5% in their stat growth.

Fire: Nino, Dorcas, Guy, Dart, Viada, Harken, Rebecca, Lowen
Wind: Lyn, Fiora, Matthew, Pricilla, Sain, Will, Hawkeye
Thunder: Wallace, Erk, Serra, Hector, Bartre, Heath, Geitz
Ice: Ninian, Nills, Jaffar, Pent, Marcus, Raven, Legault
Dark: Merlinus, Isadora, Rath, Karla
Light: Renault, Karel, Florina, Lucius, Louise
Nature: Eliwood, Canan, Oswin, Farina, Athos, Kent

Mounths:

Fire: September, July
Wind: March, May
Thunder: Becember, April
Ice: February, November
Dark: August
Light: January
Nature: June, October

By 5% bonus do you mean in stat growth or would they level up 5% faster? What affinity would you suggest for beginners and what would you suggest for more experienced players?

I don't really believe that to be a matter of beginning or experienced players. It is just the way you fight and the characters that you use.

well some affinities might be harder to play with, and some might be easier. Like with one you get a bonus for a strong easy to use unit but with another you might get a strong hard to use unit. I know it is free but I'm usually busy doing things and I'm not to good at remembering things ( Passwords ). I know, write it down. Don't worry I'd lose it. Anyway, I now know what you meant by beginning and advanced players. I was thinking solely on the month aspect.

Well LOTR FREAK, I'm registered, anyway, Does this have to do with support. What I mean is that will the support boost you up to a 10% experience.

Here's an example. Jaffar has a 15% chance of gaining a strength point when he levels up. If your tacticain has a rain affinity Jaffar now has a 20% chance of gaining a strength point when he levels up.

Too bad you don't get Jaffar earlier in the game. He is a "killer" unit. ( pun intended ). Thanks for explaining that.

So would that mean Jaffar is one of the best units in the game or he is just good?

It doesn't mean he's the best, he could be if you could get him earlier and level him up from a thief...he just gets tons of critical hits, mainly with killer weapons though...

Jaffar has quite a nice variety of strengths, especially his 1-hit KO. I never use him on bosses though. My lords need leveled up.

He is, Athos is pretty good too!

This is a bit off topic bt where do you get the item that upgrades thieves? (and the one that upgrades pirates?)
