that doesn't really say much as the word eh can be pronounced as the ay in the word pay or the i in the word lit as I said or several other ways

I think Legualt is pronounced like 'Lay Gualt' where Gualt would rhyme with Vault

re: name pronunciations?

Legault and Renault are common French surnames.
They sound like "Lego" and "Reno", but the French "e" sound is not found in English, the closest thing I can think of is the "ea" in "pearl".

I think the "i " in Eliwoods sounds "ee".

How do you guys pronounce "Karel"?
Do you stress the "a" (sounds like "Karol") or the "e" (Karelle)?

re: name pronunciations?

I agree with you, SuperFrog.

When I say Karel I stress the "a".

EDIT: I don't know what you think about it, but it seems the most logical pronunciation to me (probably because the names Carlos (male), Carla (female) and Carol (female) are pronounced with a stressed "a" in spanish).

re: name pronunciations?

Carol can also be a guy's name, but you'll see it more often in slavonic languages like Russian.

re: name pronunciations?

I've also always pronounced it like that

What about Isadora

I've always pronounced it as

Is-a-door-a but I think it might also be pronounced

I-za-door-a or maybe something else completely
