I've had a hunch for a long time now that the Wo Dao is a sword that has desended through Karel and Karlas Family but I always wondered about the enemies that had a Wo Dao, but then I thought 'hey, they could just simply be members of the Black Fang from Karel and Karlas Family'

so what does everyone think? yes, no? Additional proof for or against it?

yeah, that is true, but knowing a weapon and knowing how to use it are two completely different things

for example, only Eliwood can use a rapier but almost all people of the sword know what it is, it just most likely doesn't feel comfortable in their hand

The Wo Dao is Not Karel and Karla's family sword. But they DO have a family sword. Karel killed his family to get it. It is a red blade. And the Wo Dao is not red, so that is the proof.

that really doesn't prove anything as the shape is similar and the red part could simply be the swords sheeth (sp?)

EDIT: the only proof I have found that goes against this is a line of Karels that goes something like "only one can hold the family sword" but he may just be referring to 'the' as in type oh yeah one more thing I found is that he said they were the only two left in their family, but that may also be from a lack of knowledge, he may still have an ancient decsendant or something

To me the Wo Dao is like a katana. No one outside of Sacae would be able to use it, beause its design is different.

...Of course, that doesn't explain why the standard iron -silver stuff can be used by any sword person.. xD

in Karel's left side, you can see the sheath there.

I edited my message and also the sheeth is on Karels right side and the empty sheeth could just be something he carries around for good luck or something
