Well, it' 3:36 PM, EST as I write this message. This is probably my last post in this forum, as I am sadly going to cancel the Spriting Tournament as well. I'll let the forum die at this point, there's no point in continuing, especially when everyone is gone.
Though now, a little history lesson on Tomato:
I came to Neoseeker on December 30th, 2004. A little while after my Neopets account was hacked, & I lost faith in that site. I looked for another gaming forum, like GameTalk, where I established myself, at age 10, as Appledaddy & hung around the Sonic forums. I must say, I had a really good time posting. Initially, I established a group of friends in the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle GCN forum. There were a pretty decent number of us, around the same of the 'main' posters in this forum.
However, one day, the lone girl in our group, Sparky, was banned by the moderator, Tenchin. She had done something extremely miniscule & had gotten in trouble for it. As you could imagine, everyone was infuriated. We all left Tenchin's forum & migrated to a quieter Sonic forum, the Sonic vs. Mario forum, which one of our less active friends in the group moderated. So we continued to post there, pretty much just chilling, talking about Sonic, life, & everything. Of course, I was only 10, so you could imagine half of the conversations were really crappy RPs about cheese that were hysterical. But I had a good time there.
However, in around March of 03, only 4-5 months after joining the site on November 19th, 2002, my first ever internet post, I left. I still don't know why I decided to leave, without a word at that actually. Sadly, I've only come in contact with 2 of them, both of whom are nearly impossible to find now anyway. One being some guy Super who I didn't remember, the other being Sparky, who caused the controversy when Tenchin banned her, & thought nothing of it.
After that, I bounced around various Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 forums, pretty much getting kicked out of the official one, since everyone hated my constant flooding of the boards telling people stupid jokes. Eventually, I migrated to another proboard some guy from there made, & hung out there for a while. Although I was the young little nubcake, I liked it there, but didn't stay long, considering the proboard either vanished, or I just got tired of it, I don't know. But they hated me anyway.
Needless to say, by that point, I was in 6th grade, so a little bit more busy & thus didn't go on the internet as much. I tried to get back into Neopets, since the communities there were nice, & I joined a guild called Neo.Perfect. I was the 35th member to join, & by the time it closed, there were over 500. I made a lot of new friends, & it reminded me a lot of GameTalk, talking about random crap. At this point, I was 12. Afterwards though, everyone left & lost touch, and not a single person from that guild goes on Neopets anymore, & I have no idea what happened to any of them. =/
By this point, I was shuffling around various guilds on Neopets, found one that gave out expensive items for cheap neopoints, & lost a lot of my money. So I quit, & came here.
Now, intially, I was going to spam the place up & try to ruin the forum, simply out of anger from the previous event. However, everyone seemed so nice here in the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door forum, so I stayed & became a top poster. It was fun there, until Pyrazor became moderator. He limited the amount of off-topicness in our General Discussion, which angered all of us. He also locked almost all the game threads, which kept the forum alive, as well as fun. When he threatened to close down the Never Ending Story, probably the longest running RP I've ever been in, we revolted.
Thus, the Boards of Tomato were born, led by me, along with other Admins Black Jack, Gaming Guru, Kale, Werlin & Bright Blue Yoshi. Other members from the PMTTYD forum joined as well, and some from here. Ranger & MIF, specifically, I recall. It was fun, we did whatever we felt like, bashed Neo & Pyrazor a bit, but eventually reverted back to Neo, since I mysteriously left for a long time. If anything, being that it was the Summer of 2005 at that point, my Grandfather had died, so I was busy & depressed. Not to mention, I was terribly sick too for a long time over the Summer, from the Middle of July to the beginning of August, which also prevented me from coming on, though I didn't even want to.
I came back to the Fire Emblem forum after that Summer, & mostly hung out here, as well as a bit in the PMTTYD forum, since Py had resigned, & Child of Death & D, or Coddy the Moddy, was our Moderator, & he wrecked. Although the forum was never the same. Sadly enough, all the people who modded my site have left Neo. 3 were Perma-Banned, & the other 2 just became inactive.
Then last year, in February & March, the PMTTYD forum officially died. Since Coddy had finally stepped down as mod, since the forum was living off the off-topic GD, SlangX threatened to close it if we didn't get our act together. Of course, we didn't, & thus my good friend Kale made a pretty accurate speech about Off-Topic GDs.

Kale, seriously, lol. If you want to know why off-topic GD's aren't allowed in unmoderated forums, just look at the last few pages of this thread. Its all complete tripe. If any of you were at all capable of having constructive off-topic discussions, then I don't doubt that Slang would have left you to it.
Neoseeker isn't 4chan's /b/, and it never will be no matter how much people try and pretend it is.
[size=1]We never tried to make it into /b/. We just get sick of talking about school every other post, discussing "what's going on with our GF", talking about pointless boring shit that you guys think of as "Constructive".
Mindless fun is more fun than intelligent fun, in my opinion. I can have both, but I prefer the former in most cases.
A good example of what most people would call "constructive off-topic" would be Dragon Quest VIII's Off Topic GD.
The people there are just now finding out about shit like Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Numa Numa, and have been completely oblivious to Dave Chappelle for the last 5 years.
If that is constructive, I do not want to be constructive.

It was true, in my mind. Mindless fun is fun, & should be allowed in Off-Topic GDs, & you shouldn't get banned for it. However, Slang came & closed it, & the forum officially died, & Kale left Neo. I left as well, until October, when I came back here, & probably went through my most well-rounded Neo-Streak yet, this current one. It was fun, until recently, when Megan was banned.
I couldn't help but think about what had happened 5 years before, when Sparky was banned, & how everyone revolted. However, it made me realize good things don't always last. I knew I wasn't going to be a Seeker forever, but I didn't expect it to end to soon & abruptly like it has.
Neo's been a really great site, with some great pockets of good discussion, although the bulk of it is crap, which seeps into the little pockets. The Fire Emblem Forum, in which we post in here, is the last good Neoseeker forum. However, with the Off-Topic GD's days numbered, it's safe to say this forum is dead, & will never return to it's former glory, no matter what we do.
All in all, I'm really sad it's come to this, but I've decided to leave Neo. With this community gone, I have no place to call my 'Neo-Home', & everywhere else you go has noobs or assholes. I'm not blaming anyone, well, except the mods who banned Megan, but even so, I'm really sad about this & wish the best of luck to the rest of you, & hope you guys succeed at whatever it is you do in life.
& Yes, this of course means the Spriting Tournament will be canceled, since I'm not coming back here anymore. Sorry to all those who partook, but it's time to let it die. I'll only be here to finish up the VGCPC in Loungin', which just started, but won't be posting much of anywhere else on this site.
Peace Out, Bros ~
