I like video games and I'm normally positive about them, but sometimes fans just tick me off by changing how they portray certain characters and how the story goes.

Stop ruining Karel's character people! He is not a villain. He is actually a nice folk, not to mention that he joined the protagonists' side in canon.

Psychopath?! Heh, no he is'nt. This makes me laugh every time. In Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken, Karel did nothing but to seek out worthy oppoments.

In fact, I think the tiny bits of him shown there is the real Karel found in Fire Emblem 6: Fuuin No Tsurugi. May I remind you that, instead of even attempting to kill his sister and friends, he just said things like "I will not fight you.", "When I am with you, I remember the past.", "And you are weak that is why I do not need to kill you" or "When I am near you, I feel...calm." and had nothing to do with killing or fighting. Karel has always been a good guy and very nice in canon (unlike the psycho found in fanfics). When he was very young, he picked his sister up and carried her home when she got lost. In the times when he was the Sword Demon, he was nothing but "possessed" by his sword, and his real personality was on holiday.

It is not out-of-character for Karel to be caring and have a good heart. Not to mention that I refer him as the Sword Saint instead of Sword Demon. And BTW Guy is Karel's best buddy. Meaning that they're more like friends and not rivals! I rather see them paired together then as enemies anyway. Get over it!

I'm not offending anyone in that matter, but I was feeling bitter so I had to write this rant. This will be my only post on this forum (sorry but I have other things to do). Delete it if you want, but don't criticize too much, I just want to get my point across.

Trick is though, not all fans think that way.
