Emperor's Tomb - No Immediate save possible...

Just got started on the game. Am very disappointed to find that you cannot "immediate save" the game in progress. It's designed to save the game only after a chapter or level has been completed. Really sad to accomplish difficult tasks and then not be able to save at that point. Or..if you must interrupt the game in progress...you cannot save to that point. Would not have purchased if I had known about this quirk.

I hate it when they have that in games. i think all/most games should have it, so you can cave anytime you want and not worry about those things you mentioned

Are you playing the PS version or the PC version? When was the game released?

I have the PC version. Purchased about 3 months ago. It's now just sitting on the shelf.
Thanx for your reply.

Personally I like it that way, because it means that whenever you load a game, you don't have worry about where you were or what you might have screwed up before you saved. Whenever you load, you just pick & level & you're in there. I guess IDEALLY you would have both options but the chapter autosave doesn't bother me.

I pretty much love everything about this game, though - I ave been waiting so long for an indy console game!

re: Emperor's Tomb - No Immediate save possible...

I just got this game Friday, I almost didn't I hadn't heard great things.

I am late into the Istanbul area, and so far I am glad I got it.

The fighting is great I take more damage than I probably should because I would rather fight than shoot it out, you can do really great stuff with just button mashing but if you take time you can put together a respectable number of combos.

Course the game may get very difficult for me coming up but no matter how hard it gets you can't take the fact back the fact that the fighting has been great so far.

Course when they start using martial arts against me will it get more fun or just harder? My guess is more fun cause then at least they won't be shooting me they will be trying to fight.
