LOL cameron56743.Calm down, u will have to ask blue for the trails, and the boat is here.The bus is a secret, the place to get the club is down and im not sure where the sinking boat is at.

Ok, I got the REspawn District to work. I thought it would be alot better....kinda boring if you ask me. I didn't see any stunt parks or anything like that. I liked the sewer most though.

Anyway, heres some pics of my first tour....

Very nice...theres just nobody around.

Fun to look at and a very good job, but theres really nothing else to do in this area besides look around. Very good job....This place needs car and ped paths though. It would be alot better.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot a pic.

I thought this was pretty cool.

cool pics tec.If u try u can get police over there.kinda hard though.Jus let them fallow u there.But i got a prob now.I took uninstalled most of my mods from the mod manager so the respawn area would work better and now i get this error.it says Acess violation at adress 00496727A i module 'Vcmm.exe'Read at adress 0000000.Wat do i do??It freezes my game now and my mod manger

I don't think the boxes are dynamic... they're solid, they won't break.

For the lamposts and road blocks, he may have borrowed a few dynamic objects from other maps.

one of the boxes moves.there others are solid.The other objects the move are all road blocks i think

The sinking boat is mine. You can easily do it yourself with moo mapper. Just get a a boat from the dock (the two boats south of the dock work the best because the east boat is in a bunch of peices) and duplicate it and put it anywhere you want and tilt it as if its sinking.

GAH!!! I swear I hate this game sometimes! I just uninstalled that REspawn district cause of the fun factor was low and I wanted my island back, and what do ya know. Almost everyting in the dock area is f*cking spinning!!!

I used to think it was funny, but now its just freaking old. Im tired of driving somewhere and all of the sudden I fall into ocean. Im sick of it, and I think its rediculous that this happens.

I have tried fixing this stuff with moo mapper, but when I go to fix it, everything seems normal in the moo mapper, but in-game, its completely screwed up. I have no freaking idea why R* makes this game soo hard to mod!! Most of the fun in the PC version is adding and making mods.....Its just getting old with all the side effect(s) every map mod has.

I'll have some pics of these rediculous glitches real soon...

Yea I just reinstalled my game too because some of north little haiti was unsolid and there was a big I don't know what blocking a road. Now I backed up all my map files just incase when I'm modding something and something goes wrong I can fix it.

It doesn't matter how many times you try to fix it, editing the map will cause things to go out of place.

I can see Rockstar sort of capping our modding ability though. They seem to have limited the maximum number of unused models/textures in gta3.img, .ipl/.ide, number of faces in a .col, hardcoded some things, and now this... I guess they caught on to the modding outrage in GTA3 PC.

I never modded GTA3 like I did with Vice City, I wasn't as good (if you can say I'm good, I don't think so) as I am now. I didn't really understand much, but now I do. Did GTA3 have all these sideffects like Vice City does.

For some reason, I've got the drug factory ruins right in the middle of the avenue that leads into Downtown!


Anyways, heres a screen of the new highway I'm working on. I think I'll call it the Hyman-Escobar Highway.

GTA3 didn't have that side effect at all.

I read up on GTAForums that it was the damage models for buildings causing the problems. Remember that you bomb some for the Cubans and Avery... the old model is replaced with the damaged one. Editing maps (for reasons I don't know) just simply moves the damage model around in the wrong place.

If you edited the maps and started a new game, this probably wouldn't happen.
