Replaying ANY MISSION you want to! Dowload your SAVED GAME file here!

I just reached 100% in the game and nothing happened! Do I have to start a new game or something for the extras to kick in? I thought you were supposed to get stuff like 200% health and sidekicks.

re: 100% and Nothing?

You probably don't have 100 %. Check in your stats and make sure you actually have 100% completion and all the extras kick in immediately, including the 200% Health and armor. Just look and see what you are missing.

re: 100% and Nothing?

No, I definitely have 100% rating in the Stats section. I don't think I checked to see if I have 200% health, etc. I just thought there would be some kind of cut-scene or something when I reached it. What's the deal with hiring sidekicks? Is that a rumor or only something for the missions?

re: 100% and Nothing?

Ah ok I see what the problem is. You get a little black dialogue box informing you of your 100% rewards, but it is VERY easy to miss. I would suggest you reload your 100% save and see if you have 200 % health and armor and just in case you may have depleted it if it is less than that, run through the powerups and make sure you get to 100% or your game might be glitched.

Oh and Dark T3mplar, yeah you get rewards for 100% other than pride. Rockstar built it in because people were complaining about not getting anything for 100% completion in GTA III.

Here is what you get for 100%:

1. 200 Health
2. 200 Armor
3. DOUBLE health on ALL vehicles
(Including helicopters) So it takes twice as much damage to blow them up!
4. Infinite Ammo So you can just buy one of that ammo from Ammunation or pick up a powerup and NEVER run out of that weapon's ammo! The only thing with this is that your numbers will still stay the same for amount of bullets. It just freezes the number in the clips. So you wont know just looking at the weapon that it is infinite:
5. Frankie Outfit which is the jeans and white Tee shirt. The Tee shirt says "I completed Vice City 100% and all I got was this lousy shirt!
6. Armed and Armored Guards! You can hire Big Italian guards one to three at a time by going into the small room on the main floor of the mansion and walking through pink "mission Markers". These guys will follow you around and shoot at anyone you shoot at. Pretty handy and they REALLY take a lot of punishment!

I believe there is a glitch if you like using the remote detonator which means you can't use it because it's on infinite, or something.

I think it's disappointing that you get 200% health and armour and a set of bodyguards, but there's nothing to do with them, except raise cain. I'd like the opportunity to redo some missions with your new abilities, perhaps restart the whole story. What do you think?

re: 100% and Nothing? ALSO replaying ANY MISSION you want.

I absolutely agree with you but I think I did more so when I first started playing the game and here is why:

Until GTA III and Vice City, my approach to gaming was that I would play a game, enjoy it and ultimately beat the game. ONce I beat the game, depending upon how much I enjoyed it I might run around and unlock some or all of the other elements of the game like secrets, skill points, extra weapons and so forth. So at first after beating GTA III I thought it really sucked that you couldn't go back through the storyline and play one, several or even all the missions.

The strange thing is that because I love the games so much I have replayed both GTA III and Vice City to 100% more times than I could count, lol and probably far more than I would ever admit even if I could somehow remember.

I don't know if this will make much sense to you but the fact is that having to start over again each time, for me at least, was MORE enjoyable than just being able to replay missions at will. And I doubt very much that I would have started over again so many times IF the option to replay was available.

However I figured out a REALLY COOL solution to your problem just for fun the last few times I played.

Lets assume you are talking about the PC Version (and this will work for Vice and III):

First thing you need to do is start a game obviously. Then complete every mission that is available to you at any ONE time. Obviously the only career mission avbailable at first is the First mission. Now go save on the first slot!

Now go out and do the second career mission. After this go save on the second slot. Now you might have two mission givers available to you (one mission from Avery and one from Rosenberg) Go do ONE of each only! Then go save on the third slot!

Now you may have like 4 different bosses open to you; Rosenberg, Avery, Cortezand I think your first Assassination mission. Again, ONLY do ONE mission from each Boss. Go Save on the 4th slot. (By the way at ANY TIME you can do your Paramedic missions, Rampages, jumps, Taxi missions, Hidden vehicle missions and WHATEVER and save them on whichever save you want, just remembe where you save them or open up a notepad file and write them down. You will see why in a sec.)

By now you are no doubt about to yell into your computer screen at me "BUT CHIRO I ONLY HAVE 8 SAVE SLOTS YOU FREAKING MORON!!"

But that isn't true! Well it is but you can get around it. Keep repeating the above doing ONE mission from each mission giver, whether payphone, career or side until all 8 slots are filled then pause the game.

Minimize Vice City and open up "My Documents" and go to the folder where you have your saves, and open that folder. Inside the main folder you will see all your save files, the 8 plus the "set file" so hit "CTRL-A" which will highlight all the save files. Then Hit "CTRL-C". (which is copying them to paste later). Now go to the file menu up top and choose "create new folder" and name it "Vice City Saves I" or whatever you like. open up that folder and hit "CTRL-V" which copies all the files into "Vice City Saves I" Also you can save a notepad file there to depict anything else you might forget such as on which slot in the folder your Rampages and jumps were done, etc etc.

Now you have all your 8 saves in the folder you created. So go back into Vice City and go ahead and do ONE of every mission available to you again. Now go save, overwriting the first save. See what I am getting at here? Then do one each of all the next available Bosses missions and go overwrite the second save. Keep doing this until you fill all saves. Then minimize the game and go into "My Documents" again and open the Vice City saves folder. Repeat everything you did above except that you will create a new file and name this one "Vice City Saves II" or something like that and paste all the files you just played and saved to the new folder. SO now you have your default save directory with two different sub folders in it (Vice Ciry I and Vice City II) and in each folder, in chronological order you have access to all the missions simply by copying whichever fplder's contents you wish into the MAIN game directory.

Oh I would delete all the files in the main folder (except the sub folders and their contents of course) right before you paste the series of saves you want to play missions off of. Like I said you can include a notepad file in every sub folder which when you click on it tells you everything on each slot in that folder.

If I remember corretly I had to make 4 separate folders each with 8 saves to have access to ANY mission I wanted all the way from 0% to my 100% save depending upon which file(s) I copied into the main game save directory!

Cool huh?

And this works for GTA III as well!
Now

GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY

Save Games

---------------------------

To use a save file, click on a link and save in the "My Documents\GTA Vice City User Files" directory then edit the file name such that it can be used by GTA:VC.

For example, say you are having problems completing "The Driver". Download 30-The_Driver-GTAVCsf1.b and remove the "30-The_Driver-" part of the file name. This save game will now appear in slot one.

If you want it to appear in slot 8, change the name to "GTAVCsf8.b" (without quotation marks).

If you want to try "The Driver" mission, download the one immediately before it... "The Shootist".

Have fun!

Bodo - you are an absolute star !!
i have been looking high and low for the last 2 missions (I never bothered to complete them last time round....)

I am right in assuming that once completing the last 2 missions you get a game completed cut scene (such as walking away from the Dam with the woman in GTA 3?).
