Entering Rooms...problems...

Hi everyone,

I have some problems entering a room. Imagine if I dont do it exactly right then a hostage will be killed within half a second (as im playing on elite mode) as soon as entering the room. Well, that's my problem.

Flash grenades - If i order one of my team to open a door and chuck in a flash grenade, he casually opens the door, then after a second or two chucks the grenade, i have to wait another 2 secs for it to go off, by which time the mission is failed. Is there a better way to utilise flash grenades? Is there a way for me to hold them, so that when i throw them they go off instantly?

Breaching charge - I put one of these on the door, stand back and detonate. It takes time to chose your primary weapon again so it's not quick. The other alternative is to swap to another team memeber BUT by this time he's already turned around and it takes me a second to realise where i am in realtion to the door. Is there a better way of doing this?

I've found the best way is to simply open the door and shoot. But surely this negates the reason for having flash grenades and demo charges and makes the game a bit more standard.

Please help!

If you are holding a flash and stand back from the door you can tell team member to "open door". As he is opening it toss the flash so that it goes in the crack of the door as soon as it starts to move then the guy who opens the door can pop a bad guy while you're switching to primary.

OR

plan the mission with another member armed with breech. have "breech at Bravo" then hit the bravo key while you stand back a little with SMG ready to go.

OR you could play online with real live people and have a heck of a lot more fun!
