hi im randalf450 and im thinking about getting the game can u tell me about it?

It's a strategy game where you take control of a faction, such as Egypt or Germania, and your goal is to take over 50 settlements and capture Rome. The main thing in this game is battles. Each faction has its own units and you can use many strategies in the battlefield to win with up to 20 units in an army. You also control your settlements and build buildings, armies and stuff. And there are other things in the game such as diplomacy, assasinations, and spies, that make it interesting. It's an excellent game in my opinion.

Anyway I'm I R TEH KING. I like this game a lot and I've finished it with the Greeks and the Germans, my two most favourite factions (I really like phalanx units by the way), and I've come close to beating the game with Thrace as well.

I am oj_stm. It's been a while since I last posted here. R:TW was my first TW game. And knowing that M2:TW is much like Rome, I got hooked even more. I just don't like Warcraft 3-like ancient warfare...

I've completed this game with about half the nations. It rocks.

I bought Medieval 2: Total War fairly recently, all eager in anticipation. But I was gutted. It was so disappointing. I've gone back to playing this instead, and I have to say that it's much more enjoyable in every way.

Hi,I'm Viperlord,I've been posting here for a bit,so just thought I'd introduce myself.I LOVE Rome Total War,it's friggin awesome.I also have Barbarian Invasion,though this has turned out to be a bit of a curse,since after I played it for a bit,I went back to play Rome Total War,and I could'nt load my save game as the Brutii!And I almost had Rome under my grip too!I'll be hanging out here a lot,since I love the game,and the Ace Combat Forums are closed to guests,because of some loony spammer.
