Not true as far as I know.I've rarely had a general who lived past 70.Unless he's using a cheat.

I imagine a general would live longer in a sanitary city,but I still don't think he'd live to 130.

To be honest, I think your mate's talking crap. Anyway, if an overflow occured around that age, it would happen around 128 (binary system, 2x2x2x2x2x2x2=128) ------------------- ![]()

Generals don't live into their hundreds. Either you friend has altered the gameplay or is flat out lying. No legit way to have this happen. -------------------

Your friend's bullshitting you. Realisitically, it's impossible for any character at that time to live to 130 years old. Hell, it's almost impossible to live to that age today. ------------------- Tango Uniform Romeo Mike Oscar India Lima 9iner 1ne 1ne

I've just realised that this thread title really reminds me of a Red Dwarf episode where Rimmer's talking about the "life of a general". His definition is to hide at the back like a coward, drinking wine. Wait! Isn't that what Bonapart did? ------------------- ![]()

yes it is possible, just very unlikely. Starting at 65 and then every turn after your generals have a percentage chance of croaking. At 128 the age rolls back to zero so you get another 65 years of free time before the death rolls start again.

Interesting, I wonder if it's possible to manipulate this by saving at the end of each turn, that way making the best generals immortal ------------------- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxhRx7Gr0Qw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEl42bCAgyc A hive of ferocious little *bleeps* all stampeding past your frontline, now that's power.
