My friend tells me that a general can live for up to 130 years!!! and after this process the generals age would go back to zero!!! -------------------  Can You Play? | |

Not true as far as I know.I've rarely had a general who lived past 70.Unless he's using a cheat. | |

To be honest, I think your mate's talking crap. Anyway, if an overflow occured around that age, it would happen around 128 (binary system, 2x2x2x2x2x2x2=128) -------------------

Generals don't live into their hundreds. Either you friend has altered the gameplay or is flat out lying. No legit way to have this happen. -------------------  You don't see just how wild the crowd is? You don't see just how fly my style is? | |

I've just realised that this thread title really reminds me of a Red Dwarf episode where Rimmer's talking about the "life of a general". His definition is to hide at the back like a coward, drinking wine. Wait! Isn't that what Bonapart did? -------------------

yes it is possible, just very unlikely. Starting at 65 and then every turn after your generals have a percentage chance of croaking. At 128 the age rolls back to zero so you get another 65 years of free time before the death rolls start again. | |
