i got the dark lense after beating the game on easy but it doesnt do anything. r there other dark parts that r required 2 use the dark lense? if so, how do u get em?

Yes. You need the Phantom Frame and Chaos Battery as well. To get the Phantom Frame, simply beat the game on Hard Mode. To get the Chaos Battery, (I haven't actually done this myself yet, but this is what's on the FAQ's) you need to completely revive the Solar Tree until its pink, and then finish the game on Hard Mode. I think you can get the Phantom Frame and Chaos Battery at the same time if the tree is revived.

I hear that the gun del hell is the best weapon in the game and the and i also hear that you can dark charge (charging in the dark with no sunlight.) cool huh?

Its not the best, but it is the most powerful. You can't charge it in the dark, that can only be done by Sabata in Boktai 2. The reason being, is that its not really the Dark Gun. Its the Solar Gun using Dark Parts. It does however, use very little energy, so it can easily be charged.
The major downside, is that all boks, except for the flame and ice ones, and the Steps, not to mention the Count (I'm not sure about the Queen and Sabata) can't be hurt at all by the Dark Gun Parts, so you have to continously switch back and forth. ------------------- | |

You can use the dark gun on sabata, but not on hel and the other immortals. When you face off against sabata in sol city, equip the dark gun parts and sabata won't shoot at you. He also drops an enduranut after the battle.

I actually noticed that there are many times when Sabata does not shoot you. It has nothing to do with the Dark Gun Parts, although I can't figure out what makes the difference. Maybe its the time of day, or depends on if sunlight is hitting the solar sensor or not.

Its nothing to do with the sunlight either. I faced him after my 10th time of completing it and i had all the dark gun parts. Thats just my experience, though.

Weird. He almost never shoots me. And this was way before I completed the Dark Gun.

I thought it was dependent on how much sunlight is read by the Sensor, but that aparently isn't the case. Maybe he doesn't shoot if you're low on health?

You hit him? I didn't think that was possible. What frame did you use? I experimented with all kinds of frames.
I can't think of what it is that determines whether he shoots you or not. Maybe it has to do with the time of day. ------------------- | |
