First of all Sabata, pls dont double post, its really pointless... just edit it into your first one...
Second, yes Sabata(actual) does not fire at you unless you are within range of a the Fencer Frame, or unless you fire upon him. I too have hit him multiple times, yet i have not completed the darkgun. I wish of beating the game a certain amount of times before the coming of that. But in the mean time, could someone pls tell me the where abouts of the Dark Battery? I figure i ask now, and not have to later when i need it.

You get the dark battery after completing the game with the PINK solar tree. Hard but simple.

iv hit him bout 3 times in all the times iv played ..... idr what it does but it sure makes u feel acomplished lol
