Not alot of posts here.:)

Gee not alot of posts here, more people that come here must have played this game.
Just figured out the Japanese have a different meeting room than the Germans in the game. I figured the Axis would have the same ones, and the allies a different one, but I figure each of the 4 nations has their own different looking meeting room.

Would you mind typeing up a full documentation on how this game works like all the menus how the game folds out not a strategy guide but just how the game works I'm trying to find out which is better this or Naval Operations: Warship Gunner.

Oops sorry about coming back here so late, I just haven't checked these forums in awhile.
I think the game is boring now. Its not free roam, it just has regions which you can send your fleets too. Also no marines or anything like in PTO II, basically just ships and airplanes.
I'd think PTO IV is more strategy based, while that other game you mentioned is more action based without some of the strategy PTO IV has. I know what game you are talking about I've seen pics in magazines, and might've seen something on tv about it.
I'm pretty bored with PTO IV. If they would've made it like PTO II for Sega Saturn I think it would've been a better game.
In PTO IV you can have a bunch of different ships. Battleships, Aircraft Carriers, Cruisers, Destroyers and Submarines.
There are also supposed to be variations like Battle Carriers thats basically like a carrier only less planes, probably and some guns on it also, or light carriers which basically suck, but are cheaper to build.
You should probably rent PTO IV first. Its an older game, and I can't really picture people getting into it now, especially if it still costs you $50 bucks. I had fun with it at the time probably put like 40hrs in, and now I'm bored. I was a fan of the series though and am into strategy games. The fact that all you can do is send your ships to regions and not have free roam mode, or marines, land forces, makes me bored of it now and not recommend it farther then renting it.
Any other questions?

You should give Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII a rental if you like strategy games. Its also made by Koei, I rented it the other day.
Did you rent PTO IV yet? I only mention ROTTK VIII because its a pretty cool PS2 game if you like strategy games and you shouldn't pass it up for a rental imo. You get to be a ruler in that game, and build, draft up an army. Most of the action is all done in a strategy style, still some pretty cool warfare and planning though. Rent it first though. Maybe you are more into navy stuff or modern warfare, ROTTK VIII is about old chinese warfare or whatever.
