How do I get promoted? I have been in Mimi's house for what seems like forever..I need to get to job level 5 (Xtreme Career).. Also, once I get promoted will one of Mimi's friends let me move in with them... because right now they keep telling me that I "don't make enough money"

The same thing keeps happening to me! I cannot get to Level 5 and I have all of my logic and cooking points that I need. Leon will let me move in with him, but he says that I need to throw a better party, and I try, but...Sadly...You know the ending right? Also, I am working too much so I don't have enough time to throw a cool party, and Mimi doesn't throw great parties so when I get her to throw one, everyone leaves of boredome! Does anybody have any advice for me???

I don't know who Mimi is, but I am at the same level as you are. Hit to the left(I think)on the d-pad and see your skills. If their are yellow bars of one of the skills, then upgrade that skill. Then, look just above the skills to see a smily. ?/? That's the amount of friends you have. You have to get the right amount of friends. If that doesn't work, them try to keep your mood good. Mimi is an alternative to Dudley - I think you live with Dudley if your Sim is a guy and Mimi if your Sim is a girl.

I can't stand mimi. She is a terrible roomate. She won't won't clean up or anything. Also, she is so stupid. She set the tree with the swing on fire and then somehow managed to get herself on fire and then she died. I can't wait to move out.

you have to have Mimi or Dudly make friends with the one you want to move out with first. Get it to at least 30 to the friend you want to be with.
