I have read everywhere about getting black roses to do a potion spell in makingmagic. I know a fan is supposed to drop one off at the steps. I have a rottie dog fully trained and a butler hired, my stars are at 4 right now but even with my other character at 2, then 3 stars no roses were dropped off. I personally don't have the game anymore but my cousin does and the roses maybe at the edge of the lot. That's where I found them

Fire the butler, he kicks the obsessed (sp?) fan out, then wait until the fan comes to your house he should drop black roses

you could keep the buttler but when the butler kicks the fan out,The fan will go away but he will wait for the butler to leave when the buteler has left the fan will come back and drop roses in the from on the house.
