I second that, more has been done to that maro, i've run a 14psi cobra with a 100 shot(that was never touched). And, i've run an exhaust, cam'd, port and polished camaro. Camaro i keept a good car or two on without much trouble. The mustang i pulled one car length up to his bumper(sitting behind him at a stop sign) before he hooked up and was gone on street tires.
The camaro doesn't sound like it's got any kind of forced induction, or juice on it.... but that also doesn't sound like an LS1 to me. But i'm a ricer, i could be wrong. -------------------

The video was legit, but I agree; there was certainly a bit more done to that Camaro than they said; or that was one badass cam, haha.

Well, that's the point. They say it's only cammed, but it's got more than that. Someone wants to just give a mustang a bad name.
Saw an SVT today but i didn't get a run, almost but i had to turn off... damn house. -------------------

You guys are dummies. The term 'Cam Only' is loosely thrown around these days. It doesn't literally mean cam only. It means the only MOTOR work is a cam, stock heads, bore, stroke, etc. It likely has most bolt ons to boot and possibly gears.
And yes Corey a cam only F-Body with hang with and/or beat a pulled Cobra, they aren't THAT fast. JG, that *bleep*ing rich mans DSM has gotten to you, it is an LS1 all day. I got an ear for those type of things. ------------------- 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada - Slow

Just do yourself a little favor... get the car worked on by a reputable shop that takes no short cuts and knows what parts combination work best for your power goals.

Stock LS1 though? bore and stroke? That's what i'm going at, cause i mean you have a 4g63, than you have a stroker 4G63, HUGE difference in how it runs, and sounds.
Besides, a real man races from a dig. -------------------

Yeah 346ci stock LS1 with a CAM and that's it. No aftermarket heads, stroker kit, bored cylinders, etc etc etc. Only internals are a cam. And pushrods, rockers, springs etc but that goes along with a higher lift, longer duration cam. Can't JUST put the cam in or else you'll be taking the engine right back apart to replace the pushrods you snapped in half.
Besides, I'm sure the Cobra asked for the roll judging by the Camaro's slightly bigger than stock rear tires. ------------------- 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada - Slow

Real men race from a dig, drag slicks or street tires.
Hell, i even got an AWD burn out yesterday though 1st gear, or about 45 mph. One of the roads where they lay down the grey rocks on top of a thin layer of tar on an already paved road. Went out onto the main paved road in 1st sliding sideways like a rwd car and almost ran into the back side of he car that just went by. Got all four people in the car to turn around as i was pulling out behind them. As a guy has in his sig on one of the forums i visit: "There's not displacement for displacement, except forced induction" -------------------
