I'm ASE certified. Legit. It's your battery. Want to argue with me? Show your credentials. I'll upload my certificate if you want.

quote brownsrockUh you couldnt replace the trans output shaft seal let alone diagnose it (1hr if your VERY slow)... and I thought you sold your truck? quote brownsrockWhoever quoted you over 2k for a new 4L60E is crazy let alone a rebuild with a new converter is about $1200 AT MOST. Unless your KFC or SVT, show me a reliable car that you dont have to put money into and enjoy for $1200. quote PyroPsycho24Do it! Exactly!
Although, brownsrock, I gotta give you credit for dragging people outta the woodwork to flame you. It's rather enjoyable. And you may or may not know more about cars than I do. Hah, yeah, kinda waiting for brownsrock's reply. Not sure he can really do much but scurry away with his tail between his legs... Dude, seriously, either make some sort of effort to get along with us or play with the rest of the dingleberries on Neoseeker.

re: Battery Problem? |
quote TweakerIt was quoted at like $2500, which was too high for me to want to pay, and I wanted the Trailblazer more, because it was a lot better than my truck, and it only costed $2500. quote TweakerI always call an SUV a truck. Especially since a lot of SUV's I've seen lately look exactly like the truck of the same brand, or similar. quote KurtI'm still learning too. I know a lot though to know what I'm talking about, regardless of what you guys say. quote PyroPsycho24You have a sucky camera. It's really blurry, but I don't really care. I can see the thing, and it's awesome that your certified. But that doesn't mean you're automatically right. I know a guy who is certified, and I noticed why my truck was leaking, and he said he couldn't figure it out. He is ASE certified as well. quote Tweaker" " quote KurtIt's not even worth wasting time arguing over something I know I can be right over. -------------------

The thing is, you aren't right. You've been wrong since your first post in this thread but won't give it up.
Sad as it is, Kurt knows more about cars than you, but he's also scared to work on his own car. You obviously don't know a goddamn thing from your worthless babble I've seen in this forum. ------------------- 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada - Slow

re: Battery Problem? |
quote KFC_Or_BustThere's a possibility I could have been right. When a battery dies, it can be caused by the alternator. I was right in that aspect. Whether or not his died for that reason, that's a whole different story. quote KFC_Or_BustThat's pathetic. When something is wrong on my car, I fix it myself. Except the brakes. I had to have help on that one. Fixing small things on a car isn't something a man should be afraid to do. A lot of it is easy, and self explanatory, and the rest, takes time, but still easy. quote KFC_Or_BustI know enough about cars to fix minor problems that don't require you to pull everything under the hood out to fix. A lot of stuff I can do, because I've learned. It's not that hard. But I don't need idiots on a forum telling me I don't know crap about cars, just because I'm not liked by them, when you guys don't even know me, other than the fact when I see a thread, I post what it could be, based on there can be several factors to cause something to go wrong in a car. Depends on the part. Now go to the other guy that said it could have been the alternator (the one who posted before me), and make a big scene about it too. -------------------

quote brownsrockHaha, sorry that the camera on my phone doesn't meet your standards. And people aren't acting like this because they don't like you. People don't like you because of the way you're acting. Sorry man, just calm down and grow up a little. I'm sure you can fit in if you learn not to argue with people that know more than you.

re: Battery Problem? |
quote PyroPsycho24My LG Voyager has a sucky camera (compared to some of the phones out now), and it still takes decent pictures. Which is why I said that. And I've had experience with a dead battery, and alternator, which is why I said it could be that. And then KFC starts this crap that since I mentioned it could be the alternator, that it means I was telling him he should just get that fixed too (which is not what I meant). That's why I argued back. And then I just didn't care anymore, because a big deal was made out of nothing, which makes it not even worth to pretend to care. I didn't think it was that big of a deal to mention. Why should it be? And if you guys don't like me because I think to suggest something that no one else does, than screw it. If you battery dies, it can never hurt to get the alternator tested as well. Can it? Or was KFC just acting like an over dramatic teenage girl? -------------------

quote KFC_Or_BustDude seriuosly, give up while you're behind. My alternator had to have some on the spot patch work done and it still was only able to charge for the 30 mins home, with full electrics on the car, stereo disconnected, and headlights on, also the dash lit up like a christmas display halfway home!. Also i'd trust KFC's advice well and truely prior to yours! quote SVTmanYep! ------------------- ![]() FAQ's:- Driver 2, Max Payne, THUG | Banner By:- Thug Maniac
