Surprised Worms lasted this long in the minds of peeps.
Guess you could say they 'wormed' their way into our heads.

Anywho. On the terms of wether this game is good or not, you folk out there thinking the game is bad because it's not an effin' FPS, need to kick yourselved, then get dragged out into the street, and tied to a chair. Then get forced to eat fillingless twinkies for the rest of your life, no milk either.

If you want to judge a game without spamming boards with unfoundable remarks; opinions disguised (not all cases, just a few) as fact, then do so with rational.

Judge it amongs other titles of the same category. As an RTS, AVP:E, get's a 7.8/10 from me. It's got it's downsides here and there, but this being the first game in a possible series, it can only get better, unlike Devil May Cry. (Mwahahahaha)

AVP isn't only about FPS. It was first an arcade game. Two predators, two humans, tons of aliens. Then it was a PC game, twice, then they decided to add a new genre to the title, RTS, and it did a decent job of that. Many people regret the loss of a multiplayer, but if FI decided to make a sequel, I'm pretty sure they'd go as far as putting one in there, online; and/or, porting this thing to PC for such an occasion.

RTS games are well loved by computer gamers, but not as much by console owners, since there really isn't a big market for them as opposed to shoot em up, arcade, and other new age console titles.

Beleive me...there will be more Aliens/Predator, and perhaps more AVP games for us all. Some may even offer 3-d fighters, more FPS, FPS/3rd Person type games of such...you never know.

As of right now, the Alien and Predator title are going through some conditioning. Some of you may know, that Aliens Vs Predator is being turned into a film. At the helm is Paul W.S. Anderson, homeboy who did Event Horizon and Resident Evil. Not my first choice, but he can make for a basic eye candy action flick. Not only that, but the hype for the Alien re-release, which will include the AVP movie teaser trailer as a commercial, and the Alien Quadrilogy uber DVD pack, is through the effin' roof. ANybody reading this, the next Shrine Auditorium Comic Book and Sci Fi convention in Los Angeles, California, will be reshowing some more AVP movie stuff. It's rumored the trailer will also be shown. For more info on the AVP movie, head to the movies forum, and for more info on the convention, search google for 'los angeles comic book and sci fi'. You shouldn't have trouble finding it, if you want to go and have access to LA.

Also, there's rumors of Ridley Scott and James Cameron, as well as Sigourney Weaver, in talks of actually going through with Alien 5. MFgod...

There's bound to be plenty an AVP, Alien, and Predator game on store shelves in the coming year(s). Who knows? Maybe Fox Interactive will pick up Colonial Marines, where that left off, and release it with the re-release of Aliens.
