I am stuck with the genma plant. I picked it up with jackues and planted it in the square (the soft one with the good soil), but when i switch to samanouske after that there is no tree/plant growing anywhere in the area. In the walkthrus it said "on the left" but i just cant seem to find it.

Can someone help me please ? Maybe i am blind since i tried a few times but couldnt find it.

You have to plant it in the right patch in order for it to grow in the future. I think the patch thats second farthest away with the soil is the one that will work. I actually had to go through all the patches, since I figured Genma plants would like weird conditions, but they dont.

With Jaques examine all of the places you are able to plant, the one you should choose is the one that says; "Nice well kept fertile soil" or whatever.....and then teleport with Samonosuke and climb down. I hope this helps ^^

Yeah that's pretty much to the point being of that matter. Anyways after that u get Samonosuke down where the Don Gacha is and after that u get the Ecospirit and battle against some lion type genma.

How to you pick up the genma plant at St. Michel? I tried to bind and hold but it doesn't seem to work.

After getting off the train Jacques encounters a strange Genma plant on the grounds. I went ahead and played a bit and got jacques and samonosuke to explore most of St. Michel. I then realized that Sam had no way of exploring the grounds at the train station as well as the castle near it without moving the plant. Sam says something lies down there but I can not get to it. After reading here, I have realized that the plant must play a part in this process. I made Jacques return to the spot and see if he can move the plant to the rowhedges available but cannot seem to do it. How do you move the plant. I am using a PC. Normally when the option is available to make a choice it would give you a yes or no question and then ask for a choice, but that doesn't seem to be possible so I tried binding and grabbing it but that doesn't seem to work either. Any suggestions?

Also where do you find the missing gear, and how do you open the red door at St. Michel?

Well I found the red key and opened the red door. I found a gear there but cannot seem to move it either. I also have to found a way to get to the balcony where the flying winged woman came from. Maybe I can discover a winged fly.

I was finally able to solve the plant problem by selecting the hedgerow. I also found the gear in the castle.
