	quote you cant make a comparison between gogandantess and gargant because you only see gargant fighting early on in the opening movie of onimusha3. Unless there is some big story behind him and gogandantess in blade warriors (which i have yet to play) then i say you cant compare the two. but if i was to pick one, id say gogandantess, as it was already mentioned, he is agile aswell as strong. Also, if Gogandantess had his shield down, it wouldn't make him any less formidable as a swordsman. Ultimately it would be close. and when Gargant says 'we meet again sam' that is just to signify that samanosuke has been leading his own individual rebellion against the genma, and at one point in time met gargant. It may be to signify that samanosuke has been leading his rebellion against the genma, but I think 'Hisashiburi da na' (which the japanese Gargant says) means something along the lines of 'It's been a while' or 'Long time no see'. Which COULD ofcourse mean that it's been a while since Samanosuke fought the Genma, but is more likely to mean that they've met before, a long time ago, and now meet each other in battle once again. Which would be cool, because the history between the two could be used as a story for another game, or maybe even a movie. Or maybe it won't be used for anything, we'll see.

	Gargant would win! i mean.. come on! dantess does have that stupid shield yeh, so he would win then. but without the shield he'll be crushed! Did any of u onimusha players pick up a booklet during the game saying about samanosuke can't be beaten by any demon. and it said even the strongest of all of us genma, gargent put up a ferocious fight. Yes thats right STRONGEST of the genma. and samanosuke is well stronger than jubei and jubei kicked the living hell out of gogendantess when his shield was down. so there you have it. GARGENT IS STRONGER THAN GOGANDANTESS!!

	This is a tough one as both are almost equal, Gargant and Gogandantess have great speed, agility and power, but if you ever played Onimusha Blade Warriors, Gargant is a balanced character in the game. Gargant was made to be the most powerful of all Demons that was made by Guildenstern, I think that Gargant would have lasted longer if Sam didn't turn into Onimusha. If Jubei was battling Dantess in Onimusha form, he wouldn't last long neither. ------------------- {Gamers Heaven}

	Fortinbras is the name of the last boss in Onimusha 1. He was a snake demon from hell which Nobunaga fledge his alliance to. Fortinbras revived (through the help of tat strange looking scientist creature ya fight later, forgot the name) Nobunaga after he was killed in the scene in the first game and again in Onimusha 3 after Jubei whacked him in the 2nd game.

	Like someone said before IF Gargant is defeated he will and Gogandantess will blown up along with him. If Dantess has the shield Gargant will get tired and Gogandantess will win. 	Just because Sam is better than Juebi doesn't make Juebi a weakling. BTW who are Gargant & Gogandantess? I don't really know the enemies names. It doesn't tell you in the game like DMC3.

	quote sphinx87 Theoritically the only person who can beat Gogandantess is Jubei, as he was half oni, as to play the magic flute and break his shield you had to have oni blood, so technically even Samanosuke couldn't beat Dantess as he did not have an Oni bloodline. Therefore Garuganto would get stomped on by Dantess. However, without the shield I still reckon that Dantess' speed and agility would give him a slight upper hand, so I reckon he could win. That would be pretty much my answer.

Gogandantess indicates that his main purpose in life is to engage strong warriors and test his skills against them. Although as a Genma his allegiance is still to his Lord (Fortinbras, Nobunaga etc). If you're going with that mentality, then it could said why didn't Gildenstern use his technological genuis to overthrow Nobunaga? It could just be that the two in question didn't want the ascendency. They were much more happy to contribute to the grand scheme of things. - Dahaka

	If Gogandantess was so serious about this purpose, then he obviously would've challenged them to see if he truly was the greatest swordsman of all demons. Guildenstern, while smart, still isn't that strong. He still knows not to screw with Fortinbras. And knowing that Nobunaga was Fortinbras's successor, and even grew to be somewhat stronger than Fortinbras, he knows there's nothing he could do against that kind of power. ------------------- THE MAN.
