but if i was to pick one, id say gogandantess, as it was already mentioned, he is agile aswell as strong. Also, if Gogandantess had his shield down, it wouldn't make him any less formidable as a swordsman. Ultimately it would be close.

and when Gargant says 'we meet again sam' that is just to signify that samanosuke has been leading his own individual rebellion against the genma, and at one point in time met gargant.

Gargant would win! i mean.. come on! dantess does have that stupid shield yeh, so he would win then. but without the shield he'll be crushed! Did any of u onimusha players pick up a booklet during the game saying about samanosuke can't be beaten by any demon. and it said even the strongest of all of us genma, gargent put up a ferocious fight. Yes thats right STRONGEST of the genma. and samanosuke is well stronger than jubei and jubei kicked the living hell out of gogendantess when his shield was down.

so there you have it. GARGENT IS STRONGER THAN GOGANDANTESS!!

This is a tough one as both are almost equal, Gargant and Gogandantess have great speed, agility and power, but if you ever played Onimusha Blade Warriors, Gargant is a balanced character in the game.
Gargant was made to be the most powerful of all Demons that was made by Guildenstern, I think that Gargant would have lasted longer if Sam didn't turn into Onimusha. If Jubei was battling Dantess in Onimusha form, he wouldn't last long neither.

uh...isn't the guy in the beginning of Demon Siege named Fortinbras

Fortinbras is the name of the last boss in Onimusha 1. He was a snake demon from hell which Nobunaga fledge his alliance to.

Fortinbras revived (through the help of tat strange looking scientist creature ya fight later, forgot the name) Nobunaga after he was killed in the scene in the first game and again in Onimusha 3 after Jubei whacked him in the 2nd game.

Like someone said before IF Gargant is defeated he will and
Gogandantess will blown up along with him.

If Dantess has the shield Gargant will get tired and Gogandantess will win.

If the shield is down Gargant will win.
But i say shield or no shield Dantess dies,i mean a weakling like jubei beat Gogandantess.

Just because Sam is better than Juebi doesn't make Juebi a weakling.

BTW who are Gargant & Gogandantess? I don't really know the enemies names. It doesn't tell you in the game like DMC3.

OK i just hate jubei Godantess is the demon swordsman from oni2 and Gargant is the demon Samanosuke fights in the intro of oni3

Geez. I hate them both. Jubei is just some stupid punk and Gogandantess is the biggest fruitcake in all Onimusha 2.

What about Gargant? You only mentioned Juebi and Gogandantess (sp?)..

If Gogandantess was so serious about this purpose, then he obviously would've challenged them to see if he truly was the greatest swordsman of all demons.

Guildenstern, while smart, still isn't that strong. He still knows not to screw with Fortinbras. And knowing that Nobunaga was Fortinbras's successor, and even grew to be somewhat stronger than Fortinbras, he knows there's nothing he could do against that kind of power.
