Alright I have gotten to where Jaques finds the infamous little upside down man from Warlords, but the Realm is impossible for me to beat without using all the Medicines up. So:
Do you have to do this Demon Realm? I cant figure out any place else to go?

Exactly WHERE did ya find the upside down guy?

There is three locations - in the underwater temple, at the castle and lastly, at the Japanese temple where ya beginning.

If it is hard for ya to beat them, most likely yer weapons are too low. Go there when yer weapon levels are about 2.

second one, the castle. The one in the underground temple wasnt too hard for me, I am good at manuvering Samanosuke/Jubei, but its very hard for me to use the whips to my advantage.
is whatevers at the bottom there worth going for? other than that demon realm I am stuck...

From the top of my head I cannot remember what you obtain for completing that particular Demon Realm stage with Jacques. I do believe it may be one of the three weapon orbs from Onimusha Warlords (that allow Samanosuke to have them once you have completed your game and start anew). It can be hard and I did find it tougher with Jacques than Samanosuke, but get your weapons powered up and have a go! There is a strategy to beating most of the genma. For example there are those tall, muscular ones who's heads can be cut off, they swing wildly and with little accuracy and if you keep your distance and/or confuse them they will hit each other and any other genma floating around.

InabyamaCastle Guard :- Ya having problem there?

Here's some tips :

1. Run all the time and try to hit them from behind. Especially the bear demons.

2. After ya finish one stage, changing yer armour to one which can heal. Ya do have it, rite? I think it is in tat castle also, in one of the top towers.

By changing armour and healing, ya will save some medicine in healing.

3. When ya facing demon archers and genma warriors, take out the archers first because they can hit and screw yer defense.

4. Flying demons can be taken out easily with the whip. Just slash without pushing forward the D-pad, it will slash aerial monsters.

5. Pls level up yer weapons by running around in tat castle. At least level 2 for most weapons and level 3 to yer main weapon which ya very good at.

6. Use yer magic ONLY in places where there is more than one large monsters like the bear. Save yer magic for tight places.


Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Ya need to gather Orbs to unlock new (three) weapons for Sam in a new game. Forget wat ya get for Reno but I think it has something to do with armour. Can't remember.

Thanks for all the tips you guys but im afraid im too hopless to beat this demon realm any time soon, though I just realized i can also do this one with Samonosuke, so it will be no problem.
On to my next obsticle... the 500 year old two headed dog!

Ok, so what does this Castle demon world unlock? I want to get the Thunder (I have it already) and the Wind sword orbs. But I refuse to go through an entire realm for the Enryuu, which I will get next time around. Anyone know?

... No idea what you're talking about... Jacques doesn't get any sort of healing armor! I've beaten the demon realms through and through. He does get the Ultimate Whip in the final one, though.

Who said anything about healing armor? I was talking about the orbs to unlock the 3 original swords, and which demon realm unlocks which ones.

The first 3 ones (Samanosuke's included) give you the 3 original swords' orbs. The next one gives you a talisman, I think, and the last ones are Bishamon and Ult. Whip.
