ive got hold of a couple of new mods but when i try to install/add them to the game they only serve to *bleep* it up:

the first mod is i think called Detection and makes detection by enemies more realistic by stopping them from telling who you are from a million lightyears away etc. the problem with this is that there are some lines that you are meant to append to the user.ltx file but when i do it makes the game run ALOT slower, like 15 fps when it could manage 30-40 before.

the second i think is called Reality Enhancement and makes other things more realistic, like improved weapon sound effects, better damage like 1 hit kills to the head etc, and stops bandages healing and med-kits stopping bleeding. the problem with this mod is that theres an fsgame file which im supposed overwrite mine with but when i do it causes the game to constantly crash, actually both mods seem to be causing the game to crash alot more.

lastly both mods have 'gamedata' folders which im told i should put in my main STALKER game folder but when i do it removes my saved games from the load game list (they return when i delete the 'gamedata' folder). im not sure where to put this folder though cos at the mo, before the mods are added, theres no such folder. and also all of my game stuff isnt in the main game folder, stuff like saved games, logs and the user.ltx file are in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\STALKER-SHOC folder. do i put the gamedata folder in there or the main game folder?

the readmes for the mods are a bit sketchy and dont say anything about the game crashing or anything so any help would be greatly appreciated ... thanks

ive sorted out the detection mod and its installed and everything but its made my fps suffer. now when i look at a campfire or go into a dark building the fps goes down to around 15 and even below 10 fps, and thats after lowering my quality settings from high to medium. why? how can i improve that?

I recently downloaded a weapons mod where the trader at the very beginning had everything meaning I didn't need to wait till the end of game to get the best weapons.
But when I downloaded it and opened it up I didn't know where to put the files!
Somebody plz help!
