I'm intending to watch quite a few of these, maybe not live but I might. Thanks for keeping us updated. Hopefully there'll be some Livestreams up as they're usually what I jump into.

Last night was the opening ceremony and the first Warcraft 3 match. Tonight's main stage will feature 4 Warcraft, 4 Starcraft, 1 Counter-Strike and 1 FIFA match.
![]() Fnatic vs wNv is a great choice to broadcast, two very strong teams. -------------------

I didn't know that there was much of a gamer set outside of South and East Asia -- seeing a German joining in there is a nice change of pace.

Gunna hit just the Counter-Strike and FIFA I think. Warcraft 3 is annoying as of late.

I'm watching the live CS match right now, fnatic is dominating wNv (including a knife kill in pistol round, lol). WCG's main stream is working well with High Quality turned off, and it's the only stream with English commentary.
Both SC matches were incredibly one-sided, which is no surprise at all considering it was Koreans vs non-Koreans. I'm going to sleep after this CS match, 'cause SC won't start again till 3am. I'm expecting Grubby to take both his games and Jaedong to destroy Toodming easily. [size=1][color=#666666]This message was edited by AznLiquid on Nov 12 2009.

Yeah, was hoping to see some more international leverage in this game, that they are getting soundly whooped by the Koreans bugs me because every time it happens I get worried that events like these won't get the coverage I want them to have outside of Korea.

Day 3 schedule, last day of group stages:
![]() I have no idea who either of those CS teams are. IdrA vs White-Ra should be a great match, they are the two best players outside of Korea at the moment. Bisu vs PJ should be interesting because they played each other back in 2007 and Bisu actually lost a game to the Chinese player. Funny bit of news, Grubby (the most famous WC3er in the world) needed to be escorted away by security after being surrounded by fans. ![]()

I watched this last year and what a *bleep*ing joke the CS matches were. Hopefully this time will be different.

CS matches have deteriorated in quality over the years. The game was great to watch up till 2005. This year, wNv vs k23 was fairly entertaining.
Updated with players in the finals. Bisu defeated Koll for the bronze medal, so for the first time since 2006, Korea takes gold, silver and bronze in Starcraft. Heavy favourite fnatic takes on Polish team Again. We have an all-Chinese WC3 final for the first time ever. [size=1][color=#666666]This message was edited by AznLiquid on Nov 14 2009.

That two year dry streak must have been absolutely horrible for the Koreans to suffer. =P In any case, it's no real surprise that they are dominating the matches like this.

CS FINALS FNATIC VS AGAIN, TRIPLE OVERTIME ON NUKE WTF?
This is actually getting intense. Edit: Again edged out fnatic in the 4th OT (that's 60 rounds, double the length of regulation), it was a great game to witness, I recommend watching the VOD when it's posted. Jaedong beat Stork 2-1 in the Starcraft finals with a very scrappy and exciting game 2. Once VODs are released on Youtube, I will embed them into the first post. I will add the final medal tallies in the morning. [size=1][color=#666666]This message was edited by AznLiquid on Nov 15 2009.

Watched the Starcraft games.
Really fantastic play this year but again Korea just over powers everyone, I had high hopes for the non Korean players this year. But it wasn't to be. The final was epic, it could have been so different if Stork hadn't of *bleep*ed up in the first game. ------------------- ![]() Last Result - The Posh 2-2 Middlesbrough Next Fixture - The Posh Vs Swansea (H) (A)

Nice to see another SC fan here.
I had zero expectations in the non-Koreans this year, considering this was the strongest lineup Korea has ever sent. In fact, PJ and Advokate taking 1 game from Stork and Jaedong respectively is already much better than anticipated. One big surprise was the young German Koll beating IdrA 2-0. Idra is American but has lived in Korea with a proteam for 2 years. As for JD vs Stork, the outcome was expected. I would've preferred a Bisu vs Jaedong final, but the brackets didn't allow it. Jaedong still would be the favourite in either scenario though, IMO.
