I beat it on easy (only rented it and wanted to finish) and did not unlock secret character. Do you have to beat it in the extreme mode it gives you? or............how?

When you beat it on easy and you want a secret character..... Drizzt. Then you must first start on a new adventure with a new person, ( I started it again with the Necromancer), then after you get to the first save point, save it, (just in case) and then go to Import new Character. Once you go there you will be given a list of all of the current character plus Drizzt, just press the "A" button and then follow the rest of the instructions and you shall have drizzt instead of the other person you started with.

Who is Drizzt and what class is he? What can he do? I am playing on easy mode with a necromancer, can i unlcok him? Do you know what the other secret characters are? Info would be greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch.

drizzit is a drow ranger, i dont read the books so i dont know his story. His weapon selection is limited to the two swords he has, which are sick. Artemis the other character is a human assasian, like drizzit his two base weapons are sick. You cant change them a whole lot, you must use their base weapons and drizzit can wear up to scale, i think, and artemis can wear leather(again i think i only used them briefly). I got them after i beat it on extreme with my necro. They are to the right of the cleric on the character selection screen, not pictured.

My Necromancer is highly leveled, and when I beat the game, same thing! No new special characters. I tried that trick to restart with a new character then import... what file to import from is my question? I dont have an option for new characters.

you need to satrt a new game and go to the import character option in the pause menu, press import character, new, then go left or right until you get to the picture of drizzt

once you complete it once on any diffuclty levelm you get extreme, 10 times tougher, if you start a new game, you come to the character selcetion screen. if you keeping tapping right all the way to the cleric and press it one more time, the name at the bottom becomes drizzit, but theres no pic of him just the name. to get the assain you have to complte the game on extreme and tapp down on the cleric twice. again no pic will come up

in the books drizzt is a legendary renegade drow ranger. He is actually good unlike all other drow and he has purple eyes when all other drow have red eyes. His two scimitars and twinkle and icingdeath( a sword he stole from a dragons treaseure after he killed it) Artemis is his arch rival who is the closest to being an equal to the unbeatable drizzt, even though he has never been able to defeat drizzt by himself. Artemis is best known with his jeweled dagger(it sucks life energy out of victims in books)known as his defending dagger in the game, and he hols charon's claw which can block magic and kill an enemy with just a small scratch in the book. They are actually much better than the game makes them because the game doesnt give them all of the things they really care like drizzt's magical bracers and panther freind, and artemis's wepons dont have all the powers they have in the book.

If they make a third game, the secret character will probably be a dark elf named jarlaxe who has throwing daggers and very many useful little magical devices that aren't all mentioned.

The sword Artemis uses was his rplacement to the original he lost in a battle with drizzt and the sword its self (charon's claw) doesn't block or absor magic its the golve he wears to protect himself from the deadly magic of it. Also the only reason the swprd kills in one hit is ecause when ever it touches soemthing it automatically starts a mind controll battle if the sword wins your dead
