Why couldn't they keep the characters from BGDA and add the new ones? I really liked the Human, and the Elf. In this game, I like the Human Barbarian, and the Necromancer.

I'm partial to the happy little dwarf rogue (for single player games), he's got a lot of tools at his disposal. Plus, I get a lot of joy from dropping a satchel smoke bomb and watching creatures explode hehe.

Borador so far because of Forge Lore, which makes it so I can fool around with the workshop a lot more. I spend all my time making building up money and then just messing around and making awesome equipment.

Yep, Ysuran has the same ability as forge lore, its just a different name. Pretty cool when you get it all the way up to a 75% cost decrease.

I've always had a thing with Monks, espeically in the BG games for PC, so I started right away with the Monk. She's pretty nifty up till now, but I can't wait to try the other ones too. -------------------

I like Dorn and Ysuran. They should have made the old characters available after you beat the game. I used to love using hail of arrows to obliterate opponents. ------------------- How could you die for the throne when you don't even have the heart to die for your own?

Yeah, Hail of arrows was sweet. I just hated how fast it went through my stockpile of arrows in the first game. Im really glad you dont have to purchase and carry arrows in this game.

Hail of Bolts / Arrows is just the Diablo 2 skill Multishot with a different name. In that game, you could have 28 arrows maximum with each shot (I'm pretty sure). It only used 1 arrow, I believe, but it was like a dense web of arrows which could slaughter groups with ease. I prefered the Strafe skill, though, which forced you to stand in one place and very rapidly shoot arrows at different enemies, one extra shot per level, as each arrow was almost guaranteed a hit.
