Does anybody know when Operation Genesis 2 will be released?

If that's true, I hope they at least add a bigger variety of Dinos. At least add Diplodocus & Apatasaurus, if Apatasaurus & Camarasaurus aren't the same Dino.

Well, after much much searching the web for any possible info on a JP:OG 2 or an expansion pack i have found absolutely nothing. I have seen many sites and forums and reviews saying that it would be amazing if there were a second or an expansion but no concrete info concerning either of the two being developed currently. I am forced to believe that its a lost cause to assume there will be one. Have fun with the one you got though cause it might be the only there is.

I guess it would be very important to add bigger islands.
and it would be cool if the dinos are able to lay eggs.
Som special buildings like the laboraqtory - complex from the 2nd movie would even bee cool. and some new dinosaurs:
Diplodocus
Compsognathus
Carnotaurus (very important)
Giganotosaurus
Deinonychus
new Raptors (the tiger colored from lost world)

Personally i think they need to expand it more and make it more like a SimCity or a Civ game...

-I mean, there are people wandering my park for months without resting... How about the ability to build Hotels for the people stay for extended periods of time.

-What about the people that work my food stands and the souvenir shops? Where do they stay? What do they fly in on helicopter every morning to work? AT least the the cleaners have there own building. But how about building employee housing.

-Transportation is needed for Cross-Island travel... Would You like to walk the length of an entire Island with only a bench every 20 feet or so? I wouldn't. Why not have cars/shuttle/tram for the people.

-What about the rides? Why can't we use the Safari Ride or the Balloon Ride to cut across the Island? Why does my Safari Ride have to go in a circle? Can't i just have it cut across from one Ride Depot to an adjoining one on the opposite side allowing for the ride to see more by going further into the pen instead of on circling into it a little before i have to turn around. Can't the balloon Ride cut from one end of the island to the other instead of circling also?

-How about expensive Restaurants for the people that use the Hotels i mentioned? If you're going to spend at least a week at Jurassic Park do you really want to be eating Burgers, HotDogs, and Sandwiches morning, noon, and night for 7 or more days.

See, there is so much more they could add to a second JP:OG other than just more dinosaurs (Although i do definately like the idea of more dinosaurs). They could take a page from the book of Sid Meyers and all of the SimCity and other miscellaneous Sim[insert word] games that have been made over the years.

Well, it's a pity they don't release a JP-OG 2, at least an expansion pack. I see many times particurarly expert guys make expansion by theirselves...

Maybe JP hera is finished... But What we can do to keep it alive? Maybe a petition?
JP-OG is GREAT! I bought it in the Best Seller Edition, so it sold many copies.
Anyway it's visibilly incomplete, at least it seams the basic version, and we can see it through the advices you wrote here and others:

* new dinos
* new structures
* larger isles
* better graphic quality
* waterfalls and other landscape elements
* Land Cruiser Explorers not only inside the paddocks
* Bird cages for Pterodonts
* ...

Is it possible they stopped here!?!?
Can some computer expert do some by his self?

dude there is an expasion pack being made. they are going to give all of the carnivores new skins its on modding genesis website.ohh and they have a new raptor vs t-rex death dual.

I think in jpog2(if there is goin to be one),all dinosaurs
should be able to lay eggs in Site B mode.What do you think of that?

Um, Josh? The website you sent me to looks like the expansion is for computers.Do they make it for PS2???

yes they are making a pc version but they ar making a ps2 and xbox version too. they are working the bugs out of the ps2 demo as we speak. Unfortunately it wont be released until late 2007 or early 2008 but i assure u it will be worth the wait
