You know that mission on the main quest where you are with Danielle, and you have to go to Greenford.

Did you just land your ship on a secluded coast and walk there, did that work, or do you have to take the fort. I think you're after some Captain or somehting in that mission so I guess you might have to take the fort.

So how did you all take it? I can't get it done with one battleship, and or two other Frigates. Everytime I try to get another battleship on the seas, and I board it my game seems to crash.

I'm pretty dumb I had two battleships from a mission before, but I sold one of them by accident, because I took the captain off, it automatically sold my ship.

if you're playing the xbox version u can always use the invincibility cheat: A, Y, X(2), Y(2), B, Y, X, A
after the cheat is entered "GOD MODE ON" should appear in the top left corner

i already answered this but i have a few revisions. 1 battelship should be fine-just make sure you have 24 pound cannons and bombs. good accuracy helps a bit too, as well as some cannon related abilities

Okay yeah I found that, where you answered heyitsjohn.

I still can't beat it with a battleship and having a cannoneer of 10 accuracy and 10 cannon. I've tried alot of tricks already, like putting in planks in my ship, and using the instant repair, even buying another frigate, filling that with planks too, and when I've used up my ship's planks, take the other ship's planks too with exchange. I'll probably need two battleships and a decent character on the other ship too. I've also been using abilities fast reload, and light repair when I run out of planks.

I think I almost had it one time, because they didn't seem to shoot too much anymore, but my health was way down and I leveled up so much I didn't want to take the chance of dieing so I fled/instant sailed to the lighthouse.

I'm just wondering if there was a trick, like do I shoot at the fort with grapes or something to kill of its soldiers?, but I guess bombs kill off people too.

You sure can level up lots, by attacking the fort, I'm around level 20 or abit higher now, level 22 maybe.

Now I know what I did wrong, I attacked the fort straight up without doing that other thing first, dumb me, I thought the quest book said just go to Greenford Fort.

It was very easy when I did it the right way. I'm around level 40 though from attacking the fort straight up so much, and I had a battleship.

The way I usually go about defeating forts is to bring to ships. One is usually a bark (cheap and the fort will shoot it...mwhahahah) and a battleship. The trick I think is to get mighty close to the fort and make sure you've got cannons that reload fast, aka do the abilities that affect reloading and damage to ships. I always just do sail to, and blow the s--- out of the forts. Hope that helps,

No I have no problem with forts now like I said in my last post, I just missed a key part of the story which made the Greenford Fort invincible.

I've taken a few forts now, Redmond, Ismuelle for fun, but didn't save. Forts are too easy or maybe its because my guy is so leveled up with a battleship. Forts usually only take a fourth of my ship health away now.

Ok this is how I did it, after someone probably told me how to do it right. I wasted alot of time on the invincible Greenford Fort too. I haven't played this game in awhile, but you have to go to the Lighthouse there first, or some beach landing at that Greenford Island. Danielle will be waiting there, and she'll take Greenford Fort on foot, while you attack it by see with your ship. When you've talked to Danielle at the lighthouse or other secluded area, and she helps attack the fort on foot, you'll be able to destroy the fort with your ship, it won't be invincible to your ship attacks anymore.

I go to the lighthouse and talk with Danielle but the for is still invincible to me

is this the one where you take greenford and you attack the fort while danielle attacks the town? well either way, put god mode on, do the 100,000 cheat 10 times, buy 4 battleships, do manual shooting, and you can beat it in under 3 minutes. and to get TONS of xp, destroy the fort ( but dont take it yet ), go over to oxbay, and keep attacking the fort. it will say "fort cannon destroyed!", but you will never be able to really destroy it until you take the greenford fort. but you still get xp!

ive tried all the methods on the page but the fort still batters me, i sent 3 battleships and all three were destroyed easily, and ive only ever managed to destroy one cannon, ive unloaded tons of volleys but they dont do damage even though they hit dead on. help.

Simple. Little chat with Danielle at lighthouse, and then attack with single corvette. It seems I got some d***** glitch, because fort does NOT fights back. That ******* building totally ignores me!!! HOW IT DARES?!!!

How can i have 2 or more ships? Can i have 4 ships? i have a battleship, but when i want to buy 2nd ship i get that new ship but lose my old one. How can i have 2 or more ships without selling the old one? Thanks
