I have around 500 grand. Anyone a millionaire yet? The game kinda reminds me of real life or atleast how my parents have to deal with it, you have to struggle for money at first, and then later on when you start making more money like 4 million you can just retire and money will be no object for you.lol.

My family = middleclass, getting by, not millionaires.

I lost alot of my money, so thats why I changed the title a little bit.

i hear that jt. i carry around like 200g and have 100-150g stashed at loan sharks in about every island.

Oops sorry to bump it, but felt it needed to be up there again since I have $1,118,000 something now with the loanshark.

Its kinda cool having that much money, you just walk around and feel like you're pimping, one of the richer people in the carribean. I just feel like letting my character run around and tell everyone now, "I have a million dollars," too bad some of the characters would probably cut my throat if they knew. Guess I'm just roleplaying. It took me 3hrs to get a million dollars.

Guess I'll never be the richest man in the Carribean since the Governors probably earn lots, or pocket lots of gold for themselves illegally and put it with the loansharks too.

I didn't use any cheats I just stole ships and sell them and in that way I earned 1,300,000. And this is just a beggining because I have plans for a lot more.

Yeah I didn't cheat either. Only for around $24 000, by letting one of the officers you can hire pay me. I don't really know if thats cheating, since its not a code, and maybe my ship is so cool the best in the Carribean that people who want to be on my ship have to pay me first.lol

I guess it is cheating, but I was just testing that out, since I heard about it, and wanted to see if it worked for myself. Most of it I didn't cheat, I just delivered lots of contraband, sold some ships.

those merchants really know how to pay a delivery.

you can get as much as 390Thousand or more in one delivery as long as you have enough free space in your fleet =)

i Have more than 1.500.000$ i simply made it without cheating , its simple board ships take them and sell them.Easy...

I am in the shipping business and have made more than 40 Million now, the Dowsen loan shark at 11% really helps also. It pays to be on time... LOL I always carry well over a million on me also. Board every ship that comes close to you except one particular nation (so you have a friendly port) and get everything from the chests. When passing by a fort, take it. They reestablish themselves in two weeks and you get 25000 money and XP, can't beat that for 1 min work. My money will continue to climb, I'm trying to get my Officers to perfect 10's like myself, not easy...

I once got up to 1,300,000 by the "Keep a home port, and go around sacking ship after ship," method. Lamentably that game was corrupted this morning.

Change that I'm now at 4 mill. The Merchants in the shops pay really good money when their goods are on four battleships

Update, I'm well over 100 Million now, it is sad... I have more money than I could ever spend... Way cool... All my Officers are now all perfect 10's... Very sweet, I don't even fight anymore, they do it for me...

i have four million. i just go to the stores and ask them if they need stuff delivered anywhere. pays real good when you use 4 battleships

i've had 2 mill, then bought 4 battleships, gave 100,000 to the church, and got 8 officers..
