hey is there anyway you can board a sail the black pearl?

try attacking it. I just ran into it and scared the bejesus outta me, so I sailed away. It doesn't auto-attack you.

Stop and think a momment...What you will run into on board is the same sort of thing you ran into when the pirates attacked you to get the chest. YOU CAN'T KILL THE CURSED PIRATES!!!!! Attacking the Pearl will only result in you losing. Don't try it.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO TRY TO BOARD THE BLACK PEARL!!!!!!!!!:Don't bother, I tried it. Spent about five minutes circling it, blasting it, ramming it, you name it. Couldn't even instant board it. All i managed to do was cut their crew in half, but for the life of me I couldn't board the dang thing.

Where could I find the Black Pearl?

The only times you see it is when you go to the french island to ask about the chest that the guy in oxbay gave you, and you will not see it again until the final battle.

Annoying isn't it? The Black Pearl is just too darn strong!

If you're playing the PC version you can sail the Black Pearl if you hack into your game file, its cheating of course and you can only do it when you start a new game.

Before editing a game file always save a backup copy of that file.
Go to the directory of the file "character_init" (usually C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Pirates of the Caribbean|PROGRAM\Characters\English)
find the line,
"ch.Ship.Type=SHIP_LUGGER_ENGLAND;"
replace with,
"ch.Ship.Type=SHIP_BLACK_PEARL"
now when you start a new game you will have the Black Pearl. I honestly dont know how this affects existing games so do make backups of all files and return files to their originals before you play your existing game. It may not be a problem but with all the glitches in the game,who wants to take the chance?

i personally dont kn ow because when i saw it i didnt know about this cheat, and ran away, but i bet you could put the god mode cheat on, buy a bunch of bombs, and send it to davy jone's locker!!! mwahahaaaaa!!!
