If im not mistaken the only thing this game does is allows you to store pokemon from your ruby or sapphire on the game! So whats the point of it!

You just said it. The point is to store your Pokemon. It may seem a little bland for a game, but this isn't really a game, its a utility. It doesn't even cost as much as a normal GCN game would. There are many hardcore Pokemon fans (like myself) who study the very way the game is programmed to create the best Pokemon stats possible, and of course all that breeding would result in a large amount Pokemon with stats ad such to keep track of, too many to fit on the games built in Pokemon storage system. Pokemon Box was created for people like myself and those I just described.

Sorry, but that explanation doesn't really make sense considering you can't transfer Pokemon from the older games onto Pokemon Box. Here are some reasons why the older games are not compatible with Pokemon Box and the newer games.
