Hiya! Alrighty then, i need some help with GMOD 10, as the title states. The problem is, i cant join any servers at all. Before you ask i dont have counter strike source thingy. And i dont plan on paying 20 dollars for it. I have run out of options trying to join these servers. The patch wont even download onto my GMOD. Everytime i try to join, it says "your server does not macth.....something...something....Please restart the game" then i restart and it doesnt do antyhing. I am about to pull my hair out cuz im tired of playing with myself

For GMod 10 to work, you need to have a Source game. What games do you have on Steam, like Half-Life 2 or whatnot?

Well i have half life2 , episode 1 and 2 , portal, and team fortress 2. Baisicly everything in the orange box, Its not playing the game i have a problem with, its joining a server to play that i cant do. Like when you join a server on deathmatch.

You said you were getting an error message. What is the exact message that you get?

Something along the lines of: "Your version does not macth the servers. Please resart the game." I was searching around on google, and i heard alot about a patch that was supposed to automaticly download. It never did.

I don't know then. I just opened up Steam, and my Garrys Mod is in the process of updating.

There was actually an update released today.

No problem.

The only thing I can think of is that the server you are trying to join has a version running high than yours. But, I have no idea.

It's more then one..its ALL of them. lol
