I doubt Alyx will be playable in HL3. I think thats just a lame rumor started on the Steam forums. They will probably stay true to the Half life style, and have you be Gordan again.

I can't wait already! Lol. In someways i want an expansion pack because it will come out relatively quickly E.g. they could do the story from Alyx or Barneys point of view. Thus having more game but not ruining the story by adding a tiny bit extra (same as HL1 add-on's) But in another way i would like HL3 instead of them working on an expansion, because im really interested in what will happen. Do you think HL3 will be the end of it? Or do you think the G-man mentioning he had more than one person contacting him could mean more HL after 3?

think about it this way
when games make $ they make more when pc games make $ they make more and expason packs so theres prob going to be about 2 or 3 more packs then hl 3 they said hl 3 will be out in 2-3 years. -------------------

yes also it will be a half life 3 look at this new shot of it.
 ok so i made it but there will be a half life 3 because thats a money maker for valve look how many FF there are -------------------
