recently i bought blueshift and opposing force for pc.


i didn't have half life 1 though, but i heard that:


hl has a lot of things that ops4/BS doesn't have.

so am i missing out alot of things if i only have BS/ops4?


mods don't matter to me, but should i buy hl just to see those missing stuff ?



also can i run hl2 with 128ram?
and how do i install mods to blueshift?

Yeah you miss out one the whole point and behind the scenes stuff if you dont play hl1

why on earth is this on the hl2 board?

You only need it for OF, not for BS

Anyway, why didn't you just bought the Generations/platinum-pack like I did?!
It includes HL1, BS, OF, CS, DoD, DMC, Ricochet and TFC

Yes, you miss pretty much if you haven't played HL².
And no, you can't play HL² with 128MB RAM, it needs atleast 256MB. And 512MB is recommended.

well see in my country the premium edition isn't aviliable to buy.

thanks again for helping though, and i just find a way to install mods to BS, so i'm happy with what i've got.
