On Chapter 12 (Follow Freeman), I have destroyed 2 generators, but threw something in the 3rd generator room and it triggered the lasers and the doors shut while I was outside of the room. Now, I can't figure out how to get the doors to open (from the outside) so I can get into the room.

Please help!!

It's a trap.

Just hold your ground. The Overwatch soldiers will cut through the doors. Just be ready to kill them when they blow open.

And make sure Barney is in the room with you, or he could die.

Okay, I am in "the room" with several guns stationed on the ceiling. I went in by myself. I comleted in distroying all the guns, got some health and pressed the button to release the doors. NOTHING! I spent at least an hour getting all the guns distroyed. I have NO ammo left.

Sorry, wrong room. I thought you said you got past this part.

In the laser room, you have to avoid the lasers. Crouch and jump over them until you get to the button on the far side.

Otherwise, you get locked in and die.
