I am in halfLife 2 the canals at the place where a vortigan is supposed to install a gun on my propellor boat.

But none of the figures is moving (just after the "park your boat here ". Well , where ??
No matter where i put it , i go out or stay in it. The vortigan does not move.
Where is the 'trigger' to make the vortigan move ?

make him move?? what are you on about, stop the boat anywhere then you get out, then follow the guy to look at the map, then you go back when prompted to see the vortigant finishing attaching the MG, get in wait for the gate to raise then leave

then the coloured guy isn't going to the map in my case.
He stays on the bridge.
(and I punch him hard with the crowbar ).

and oh yeah, I do correct the ai_disabled 0 message so that the AI is ok (ooops..did I reveal too much now ?)

I'd change 'ai_disabled 0' to 'ai_disabled 1' try that...

Check Steam's website, FAQ's and Forums. There's bound to be someone else with a similar problem to you. If all else fails, try re-installing or starting a new game.

But if you've been "cheating" in the console, it may have something to do with a command you may have entered. Get your history and settings up, if you can, and try and rectify and bad changes...

Yeah I realised that afterwards

You could try just going through the most recent level you completed, without using the ai_disable at all. Otherwise, I'm stumped.
