The minicamp system is seriously flawed. In a real minicamp you aren't going to have just one player excel in each exercise and have all of the others not do anything at all. Why don't you have the opportunity to run like three different minicamps, where you select a certain position to be worked on. If you want your linebackers to work on their acceleration or offensive line to work on pass blocking, you assign what you want to focus on. That would be more realistic, and you couldn't have some player go from 97 to 99 just because of a minicamp. I'm all for the NFL Europe thing, just as long as they don't make the mistake of MVP baseball and make it so you have no choice but to put up with all of the farm team crap.
I'm a creative guy so I think they should put in a super impressive create-a-stadium, where you can do some real creative stuff. The game DESPERATELY needs more information in their draft process, heck, tell me what their key stats are. Put in the Senior Bowl, and voila! Also, we need historic players and stadiums, just cause I'm a big fan of bells and whistles. Maybe using stadiums who aren't used right now like the LA colliseum or likewise, and use them when and if you relocate. That's all I got... re: Madden 2005 ideas |
quote mcnair4everwell the using college players names is illlegal bcoz of sum thing by NCAA that collegiate players cant get paid (I THINK:confused ALSO BETTER CROWDS!!!!!! i did an instant replay and looked around the stadium and EVERYONE had the TB BUCS colours on (my home team) and none had the green Phillie Eagles colours (the away team). THATS SO UNREALISTIC, just bcoz a taem is playing away it dont mean none of their supporters come and watch them Mj ------------------- NIRVANA ROKZ

quote mj_da_bestWell in some cases it does. Away or home, there are never any cardinal fans in the seats lol. I remember packers played them and packer fans were like 85% of the people in the stadium.

re: Madden 2005 ideas |
quote mj_da_bestSome places are. I can't get tickets to a Chiefs game for under $300, and I'm a chiefs fan. In KC, they give you dibbs if you live in Jackson County (the county where the stadium is at). My grandparents live there, and they have problems getting tickets also. Some stadiums are mixed in color, but Arrowhead is nothing short of a sea of red. But the croud could have some more animation to it. It doesn't have to be polygonal (but that would be AWESOME), but make it look like it's realistic kindof. I don't know why they don't get names on the historic teams. I think it is because you would have to give them royalties by putting them in the game (like college), and they don't wanna let 1000 old school players cut into their dollar. I have an idea.. again, I dont know if anyone has mentioned it or not, but how bout a little better home field advantage... for example.
Miami, teams that come to play them, they should fatigue faster because they are not used to the heat. Denver, they teams that come to play them should fatigue faster becuase the air is harder to breathe in. ..... you guys get what I am saying... or is this just a lame stupid idea... -------------------

re: Madden 2005 ideas |
quote CotyCarr56Oh well, I don't think this lame idea. However, I think Madden already has something like this in 2004, I don't know if you notice this or not, but if you play with your friend on your own turf, you will get more turnovers. I want the historic players back feature immediately. I just figured out just a week ago, Ea sports canceled this awesome feature in 2004 (stupid me). Damn, EA sports!! Where are my Barry Sanders, Reggie White, John Elway and S.Young ...?

something i just thought of.
If they have somthing about the fans getting into the game and going crazy or being quiet and stuff....If the crowd is going crazy and the team is all hyped up and they have to block a field goal, it should make it easier, and harder to kick the fieldgoal. same for punts. Maybe having to do with being nervous
