re: image hosting |

Check with your ISP in regards to image/webspace hosting. Most ISP's offer free web space to go with the internet service..usually 5 MB. Just upload a pic there and link it and you are set.
I often use my webspace to upload my EBAY pics so I don't have to pay for EBAY's picture hosting fees when I do a listing. Works great.

Some mews from cowboyville, Troy Hambrick has officially been released. So now all the pressure to carry the running game falls on Mr. Jones. Personally I never liked Hambrick, especially after he was complaining to the media about Emmit retiring so he could show what he could do. Odviously he didn't show enough his one full season at starter.

quote LaStChInEsEHeRoyeh, its pretty funni how the C-Boys let the NFL Rushnig REcord holder (EMITT SMITH!!!!) go to let sum fatass fullback play as a RB. Emitt wood have been so much better now to be a mentor to J.Jones, and when Em reitres, he cood stay on as a RB Coach. just a suggestion, Mr Parcells Mj ------------------- NIRVANA ROKZ

I think the Cowboys wanted to keep Emmitt, but he didn't want to take a pay cut. And in today's NFL, just about everyone is expendable. If you're not cap friendly, you're gone. Plus, i don't think Emmitt wanted to stay there to be a mentor, he wanted to play, which was the main reason he went to Arziona.

Now he is. But when he first got there he was starting until he got that injury. Then Marcel Shipp played well and emmitt was forced to stay on the bench.

quote LaStChInEsEHeRoCan someone define irony for me? In a cruel twist of fate Troy Hambrick is now a Raider. Don't get me wrong he is a ok back, but we have a lot of ok RB's now. Hopefully we didn't sign him for to much money (when I first read about it the details of his contract weren't released yet).

Bleh.
One never knows what goes on in the mind of Al Davis, so really none of his moves surprise me. But this here, what the hell is this? Troy Hambrick? Backs like this guy are a dime a dozen. I wouldnt have wasted my time on this fool. Throw Justin Fargas into the fire, and let him show what he can do. It would be a lot better than Hambrick.

quote The Stingeri dont think that Hambrick shood start, but he'd be a nice option for 2nd-3rd and short and might even be able to play fullback. hese completely different to Fargas, whos a speedy back. Mj ------------------- NIRVANA ROKZ

norv turner is a pretty good coach, and al davis has made some decisions in the past that appeared to be off the wall, but they worked. however, i would rather not see troy hambrick in the silver & black.

re: NFL Thread V.07 |

Troy Hambrick is garbage, that's about all there is to it. He showed that he's a nothing, a nobody. He'd be a better fit in New England where the running back doesn't need to get yards, just be on the field. Even then they'd be throwing away money on him.
Anyways, on a Vikings related note: I was reading comments from Mike Tice on NFL.com, and it sounds like Onterrio Smith has taken over the second string running back spot, and pushed poor Moe back to short yardage specialist only. Michael is supposedly totally healthy, and Onterrio is the guy behind him now... What I can't understand is why we bothered drafting a running back without dealing one of these guys away... (Most likely Moe). It's kind of a shame to see Moe get demoted, and if I were him, I'd try to leave, and go to a place where I've got a chance to start, since he could definately start in most places out there, he showed that last season. What do you guys think about Moe Williams? -------------------

Moe Williams is in the same boat as Larry Johnson. The talent is there, but the opportunity to play is slim to none.
Maybe the Chiefs and Vikings need to stop having the training camp get togethers. It seems that the KC stupidity is rubbing off on them in some areas. Better keep an eye on that.... Moe Williams at least has a 3rd and short job, Larry Johnson is lucky to get activated for the game. I really hate that. Its good that we have a back like Johnson, but at the same time, the guy could actually vie for a starting job somewhere else, but with KC we cant seem to make room enough to put him on the active roster on gameday. These guys deserve to play, not sit the bench. Im all for having depth, but putting guys with the talent to start on the bench is just screwing the player over. If you arent going to give the player his due, trade or release them. Of course, thats what the Baltimore Ravens did with Priest Holmes, let him move on rather than sit the bench all the time, and then Jamal Lewis got hurt and Priest won the rushing title in KC that year. So I guess youre damned if you do, and damned if you dont. The minute they trade or release that player, an injury would happen, and then they look like the dumbest people in the league.

Well, it looks like the Denver Broncos will take another hit to that offense this season.
Future hall of fame Tight End Shannen Sharpe has announced his retirement, electing to join the CBS crew for the NFL Today Show, with Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, and Jim Nantz. He will be replacing Deion Sanders. The Denver offense is going to be quite interesting to see this season. Portis is gone, Sharpe is gone, Mccaffery is gone, Looks like its Rod Smith and Garrison Hearst trying to lead the team by example. Thats about all the veteran leadership that offense has anymore. Hearst is an up and down player, has been all his career, and Jake Plummer, Im still not sold on this guy being the right guy for the job in Denver. Rod Smith can only do so much, with his old ass. They better hope the defensive improvements they made can carry the team this season, because the offense, on paper, is looking a little shaky.

I dunno, they resigned Byron Chamberlain, who is very competative when he doesn't get suspended and then gain too much weight....
If he plays, then he does quite well. He's no Shannon Sharpe, but he's a good TE. -------------------
