Yeah, the only rookie starting Qb to not get murdered his first year was Dan Marino, I believe he put up a 7-2 mark in his rookie season.

Eli's brother Peyton had a disaster rookie year, and went 3-13.

In the Giants defense though, they knew the guy they wanted, and went all out to get him. And, it was a good move for the franchise in the long term, because Im pretty sure Eli will turn into a pretty damn good QB in the league. He'll take some flack for the stunt he pulled, and there will be guys gunning for him all season. If he makes it through his rookie year though, he'll be fine.

First of all, C++ is an out of date programming language, and if I'm not mistaken, it's not used on NeoSeeker (Neo uses Java) so I'm wondering what the hell is going on? If anybody knows what the hell is going on, please PM me so I can fix it or something like that...

I heard that he wants to play Defensive End. I didnt know it was for the Chiefs though. He's looking in the wrong place if he thinks he's going to land a huge contract before proving himself. KC's just about the biggest tightass in the league when it comes to signing players.

He wanted to go to the vikings, but Mike Tice did not want him. THat must be why he rejected the KC offer because it must have been less than he wanted. At this time in the NFL id probably much rather play on KC than the Vikings. Vikings always find a way to lose and KC has arguable the best overall team right now.
Vikings dont really need any more DL. KC i thought was set at DL but i dont think they got what they expected from them last year. i think they want more of a pass rush, somthing Vonnie Holiday isn't that great at getting. But i wouldn't expect lesner to come in and be better than any of their starters.

Being a huge KC fan myself I'm wondering about that Brock lesnar thing. I never really knew much about it (I never thought a WWE star would go to NFL), but he would probably be a good defensive player as said before.

Brock Lesnar picked the wrong team to try out for defensive line. We're overloaded as it is, and KC doesnt give the big contracts unless the guy makes a few pro-bowls and threatens to hold out.

i think that Brock wood make a fine DE or maybe even a big MLB. he obviously has the strength and agility being a wrestler and all. if he wasnt asking for so much $$$ im sure a team wood take a gamble on him.

I was wondering who New York was going to put behind Eli on the bench and found out the Giants acquired the rights to JLo, yep that's right, Jarrid Lorenzen of Kentucky. This guy can really fill out a uniform- and I mean [i]fill out[/b] (He's listed as 6'3" 288#) okay, all jokes aside, this guy has a good arm and is quick for a guy his weight but I can only hope they want him as their number three QB. I loved watching him play in college. Regardless of how the regular season turns out, Madden 2005 ought to be a blast at the QB position!!!

The Rams could use another defensive end... Leonard Little might be put away for a couple years if he's prosecuted for that woman he killed four years ago. They found him drinking and driving again a couple days ago. All I can say is *bleep*.

Jarrid Lorenzen didn't get drafted? I don't follow College Football real close or anything but that guy was pretty fun to watch on Saturdays. Real warrior.
