I'm MidtownFreak20 and for the past two years have been an active member in the forums.I have both the original Sims and their expansions and now have recently acquired 'The Sims 2' and plan to play it to it's funnest extent!

Bobbonew here!!!!!!! I just got this game yesterday ok here's my story (ripped from my blog but its aiiiight)

I went to return my Sims 2 game for another version (I bought the dvd version, I needed the regular one), and they wouldn't *bleep*ing do it. The people at Walmart *bleep*ed me over seriously. Like I was so angry at them for not exchanging it. The person at Walmart told me to get the Dvd one for the bonus disc, not the game itself that is DVD!!! And I knew that person too and didn't want to get them in trouble. They seriously like... looked me in the eye and just stood there acting like I was lying the whole time even though it was 100% truth. Oh well, Walmart suXX0rz.

But then my pal Willie traded me his regular one for my dvd one (it would work for him) and all is good in the universe! I played the game earlier and its quite fun, but very demanding to get into.


But hey I have it and it workx.

I originally bought the DVD one on accident as well from Wal-Mart, as I didn't see one that didn't have "DVD Edition" on it, so I figured it was the normal game. It wasn't and I became quite pissed and the next day I called Wal-Mart up and told the electronics department that they only had the DVD edition there and I wanted a copy of a normal one. They let me exchange my game because they didn't have the game labeled on the shelf anyway and they said the normal version was mixed in with the DVD version (how the hell am I supposed to tell? The game boxes are exactly alike except for the silver strip on the top of the front). So they exchanged it for me after I got on their case for not labeling or even separating the games on the shelf.

I played the first sims and two expansions, house party and unleashed... Unleashed was rather pointless, but home party was fun!

Im from sweden, so sometimes I can't understand what you're sayin' cuz I have the swedish version where, for example, "Community Lot" is called "Allm'a'n plats"

But I think I'll understand most of what your saying since I've loved english all my life and started learning it at an age of four... It's like a second language to me, but Im not perfect. Some grammar and spelling errors. But I've seen americans that writes worse, so I should be fine.

Hey all!
I recently bought this game,and i must say,it is ah visually stunning,allas,everything seems perfect in the game,i only played it one night cause the next day(the pc was new,only used that night),the motherboard had a problem,and its gone one week of full anxiety of playing the sims 2 again.
Anyway,im Hugo,15,Portuguese,and i hope we can all get allong.
This forum already has a mod right?
