quote deeploveWhat are you talking about? Did you even read my first post on here? I originally said that Half-Life 2 is better and I'm sticking with it. I don't care what Alias thinks I have my own opinion on games and he has his! -------------------

I heard HL2 on Xbox wasnt going to get a massive MP choice if any, It'd be HL2DM if any, Maybe Valve will set up another mapping contest so they can get some maps for the Xbox
Maybe Valve will send CS:Source to Xbox later on to make up for no MP in HL2Xbox ------------------- ![]()

I doubt there will be split screen, Doom didn't have split screen because having two people play at the same time with a game like Doom (or Halflife2) takes alot of the xbox and can cause lag.

halo was the best fps by far but half life 2 was a disapointment to me it was no different than number 1 . half life games are very realistic and they spent very alot of time on detail and gameplay. they both have there ups and downs, but half life has better length and gameplay though, half-life2 took me a long time to beat , but halo 1 i beat ijn 1 day,,, and halo 2 in 2 but i couldve beaton it in 1... half life on the other hand i played for a straight week taking the levels slow enjoying the detail, and storyline. halo 1 =9.5(a classic fps) halo 2=(7.5 good multiplayer but nothing new..) half life2=(9.6 like medium graphics on computer version , and basicly a prefect copy to xbox. very enjoyable)

quote puppabearWell I don't give a randy rarzoo about my post count and I say that Halo craps all over Half Life 2 like Episode 3 crapes all Over episode1. HA! Things wrong with Half Life 2 1: All this so called revolution in gaming stuff, like moving around boxes and having them slow you down is the most overrated crap since Billy Ray Sirus was declared to be thew next Elvis, WTF, where is he now, TELL ME THAT! 2: All this so called interaction with the environment, that is suppose to be so real and not one Freaking light can be shot out, real my ass! 3: Your squad member constantly get in the road and I am not even going to talk about those BLEEPING creatures in the prison, YES, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! 4: The graphics are not even that good really. 5: There should be more creatures, more fighting and a hell of allot less fiddly farty things that constantly plaque your journey through this game. 6: Do these people from Valve know what they are doing? 7: I could have done a better job drunk out off my scull. 8: I am never going to listen to hyped up BS again! 9: Like Halo 2, this game is living of the fame of its predecessor. 10: How is it that these guys get to wipe their ass on a piece of cheep toilet paper and package it as the game of the year? And you can quote me on ALL OF THAT!

Yeah, it offers much more than Halo 2, playing time wise and its not a bad game, as a first person shooter it is fairly decent but not as good as Halo 1.
Playing it through the second time, I am enjoying it more, so disregard my previous bitch

I suppose if multi-player is your bag, and you don't have Half Life-2 for PC, then Halo 2 would be the better choice -if you can handle playing online with the Halo 2 crowd. No offense mean't to be dished out, just my take on it, from personal experience.
On the other hand, if you want a FPS that allows you to make a choice in your objectives, like never before, then Half Life-2 is the choice. With Half Life-2, I became totally immersed as "that" character. With the Halo series, I was just some guy blowing away cartoon characters -I'm not impressed with Halo's enemy swarms. The original Half Life, in my opinion, was way ahead of it's time. Half Life 2 is on schedule, but I think it does the job alot better than any other FPS to grace gaming machines. Halo was an "ok" game, but I felt like I was on rails the whole time. Halo 2 is, in my opinion, total garbage. I didn't like anything about the game -the single player campaign, nor the multi-player experience -maybe because I'm 30 years old. So, it boils down to which gaming style you like better. In my opinion, the single player campaign of Half Life-2 for the Xbox was interesting enough that it didn't "need" the multi-player crutch to lean on. All opinions expressed above are simply that; opinions. ------------------- XBL Gamertag: ShiftTwitch808
