General Xbox
^ Reading carefully through this thread will reveal some interesting info, it' would also be far more logical to make HL2 on the "next box", producing HL2 for the existing Xbox and maintaining it's visual flair is obviously a very difficult task IE the Xbox version of Doom 3 was in development at the same time as the PC version and it still has not been released... besides which Doom 3 is a much simpler game then HL2. | |

But yeah. The more logical thing to do is make it for the next console. The next console should be able to keep up with the game. ------------------- I'M A SPEEDBALLER.

Either way, it is good for the newer seekers to know aobut the change of consoles on Half Life 2. That way they won't expect it on the XBox. ------------------- I'M A SPEEDBALLER.

Even though its a longer wait Im sure it will be well worth the wait. My PC cant handle the game very well

I think it is going to be withdrawn from release to the Xbox as Xbox 2 is getting closer. They can just update the graphics and make it a better game on the next xbox.

This is the THIRD person, who said they KNOW what's going on...what is your source of information?
I'm telling you man...there is NOTHING on the Net about it...all Rumors and speculations. Valve, I THINK (read on the net somewhere), said it would be released on Xbox sometime back in 2003, but never gave a release date. But like I said...what I read could have been a rumor also. | |
