When I try to enter a cheat, nothing happens. How do I know if I entered it right or not?

Well, clearly whatever you wanted to happen will happen. If you entered a health cheat correctly, your health will have gone up by 25. If you entered a weapon cheat correctly, your weapon will have more ammo in the clip. There's no conformation message if that's what you mean, and I've never gotten the full ammo one to work, so I think that's bogus. However, they may take a few tries to get, as you have to get the button combinations just right, and do it quite quickly. Try the health one, as that definately works, and if nothing happens, your copy of the game is faulty.

Oh, so that's why it wasn't working. I didn't know it had to be entered at a certain speed(because most of my games with codes aren't like that). Thanks.

EDIT: I seem to be able to get the ammo one to work fine.

if u cant get any cheats to work then u suck at puttung them in...i have no problem with the cheats....the problem is with the operater

About 2 months ago, I said I got them working.... No reason to tell me I suck, it was something with the controler I was using anyway.

The full ammo one works. I do it constantly. Just to make sure i got some pulse rifle vaporizing rounds. Just do it slowly, if your not under direct oppression.

I don't like to use cheats too often, ruins the fun and challenge of the game. I mainly used them when I sucked a bit, so I go my arse handed to me by simple combine; as at the time I wasn't used to using a controller for FPS games. Now I only occasionally get into such a pickle that I have to resort to a health cheat, as health packs are pretty well dispersed, and you can carry spare one's around with the gravity gun.

i never used any cheats till i tried to finish the game a 3rd time.
