Hi im new. I own every single Metal Gear Game apart from Snake Eater and the twin snakes but i am gettting a Gamecube 4 XMAS 2 get the Twin Snakes in March. Somewhere on a site i 4got they said that there will be new Weapons on the twin snakes is this true???? thx frm Solid Snake 91

Does any-1 kno if Ryden is going to be a playable character?
cuz i kinda liked him in MGS2 and will the wepons be the same as MGS2 cuz that would be tight, also i saw a screen shot where you can use the shotgun...i hated in MGS2 where you were intering the bace in they shot you with shotguns...so yeah

No raiden's not in MGS:TTS or in Snake Eater (THANK GOD),
anyway, no there're no shotguns i think it has the same weapons as MGS2...

Since MGS: The Twin Snakes is a remake of MGS1, I'm certain Raiden will play no part in it. However, since there is only minimal information out on MGS3: Snake Eater at this time, there's no way we can be positive that Raiden isn't in the game, although it is unlikely.

There're enough info about MGS3 to make sure raiden is not in it, for example MGS3 is in the 60 even solid snake wasn't born then, anyway we're going off topic so back to MGS:TTW..

You can never trust Hideo Kojima 100%, at least not until the game is released. He's always leading his fans on only to surprise and shock them.

It's a general discussion, a few comments about another MGS game won't kill anyone.

I'd like to see Raiden in another MGS game in the future, just not have to play as him through most of the game. As much as I didn't like Raiden, his story was still very interesting.

Well, i don't mind seeing raiden in anothe MGS game as long as he's not a playable character..

I wouldn't mind seeing Raiden in another MGS game, either. As long as:

1) He goes through puberty.
2) You don't play as him.
3) He stops wearing that damn gay-ass wig.

Even so, you guys didn't think it was at all cool playing as Raiden while seeing Solid Snake in a whole new perspective? I really thought it made me appreciate Snake a lot more, regardless of how angry I was that I couldn't actually play as him. The defining moment in MGS2 for me was when Raiden (you) and Snake paused for a moment while they had their backs to each other, holding their weapons and being surrounded by enemy soldiers, and then completely lashing out with gunfire. The teamwork between Raiden and Solid Snake only reassured me of how legendary Snake really is.

It's Raiden's physical traits that make me hate his character so much. First of all, what kind of secret spy agent has light-blonde hair that's shoulder length? Secondly, he whines too damn much. When the colonel told Snake something, he'd accept it and do what he could with the circumstances. Raiden whines, cries and bitches more than a pregnant woman.

I know what you're saying, Kojima could have provided a more rugged playable character, but it wasn't the worst thing that could ever happen.

everyone should watch the amazing 27 min. trailer (thats rite its 27 mins. and its worth watchin), its definitly the best of the 3 trailers for TTS

That is some long trailer. The thing that sucks is that they didnt really show any of the game play. All they showed is like cut scenes from the game. The cut scenes were pretty cool and they look a lot better so they have made lots of improvements on them from the first Metal Gear that was on PS.
