What extras could Konami and Silicon Knights add to make the MGS1 experience even better than the regular game?

They may add extras like they did substance. But basically we get a remake of a old game. And what ticks me off the most is that these playstation people want that to, Man you people are greedy. Lets not forget that MGS originates from the Nes console

They will put more VR Missions as you can now use new moves. I would like if they put Snake Tell here too, they would be more fun in here then in SOL.

I hope they include all of the trailers for the game that we could unlock while progressing.

Im sure they will add bonus stuff but they havent released much info to the public.

if sure that they will add bonus stuff 2 make more people buy it 2 say it is different from the original.

I know they are going to add a first person view but now u cant shoot (like in mgs2). Mabye they will add new weapons

I dont think they will add much, i reckon they will take the same approach capcom did with the Resi Remake, just make the experience a whole lot better and make one of the best games ever even better. Maybe add more plot twists or further story development that goes deeper into the world/history of MGS (kinda how capcom expanded resi 1) but i cant see mainy bonuses except maybe the addition of more vr missions like some1 sed.

The RE remake has new bosses and the mansions alot different if they did that much I would be surprised. The RE remake had at least 2x as much to explore and an different story sort of.

The remake was fricken fantastic took one of the best psone games and made it better, if konami can pull it off with MGS then ladys and gentleman we have got a new greatest game ever. The remake had lisa trevor (or wotever her name was) apart from her there werent a massive amount of new bosses/sub bosses. Yeh the mansion was different more complex and better laid out if they did that with the base in MGS i would enjoy the newer enviroment. Adding and changing parts of MGS would be good making the story alot deeper would be awesome they've already change cutscences they are now more spectacular and carry more info/story from what ive seen of previews and trailers.

Its gonna ROCK!! just gotto wait ages for it.

Well, it did say in the IGN preview that the twin snakes will have everything MGS2 had, and even more...with moves and camera views and such. Also, since it's being done on GC, there's going to be ALOT of easter eggs, says IGN. One they spoke of was finding mario and yoshi dolls on a desk, and when you shoot them they make noises or something. The first and second MGS both had alot of easter eggs, so i'm hoping for more in this remake. Also, i guess there's going to be more cut scenes you can see with dialogue, adding more to the story.

I had an idea, there may be a demo mode like MGS had originally, kinda like watching a movie. (much more so now)


Well then I thought of this, what if there is a demo mode (or just different game mode) with Audio Commentary? DVD's have it, Rogue Leader and Rebel Strike have it (maybe more but those I know do). My fear would be it would only be in Japaneze but there could be subtitles.

I heard/readin my EGM magazene that they did add new areas that have ledges now so u can hang over them but im not sure if that it has to do with areas that have already had ledges from the original

they did have ledges but you couldn't hang on them like you did on SOL right so thats what they added in the game
