In the IGN preview i read, they said that all of the audio and voice acting is being redone!! It's already awesome, why change it!? but don't worry fans, they're using the EXACT same people to do it, i guess they're just trying to make it...better, which will be hard to do. Supposedly, it's going to be much better than before. I trust them, cuz all the voice actors are really good, but i still dont know why they're doing this. And i guess that they're redoing some of the music, but hey, this all might turn out to be better than we thought.

I noticed this just awhile back but I think some people are different. I think someone else is doing Sniper Wolf. It was Julie Monroe, it is Tasia Valenza now. But I am sure it will be great, either way I am buying it and hoping it is really great.

Oh they better not! Sniper wolf is my favorite. But, i was going thru this one voice acting site, and i was looking for sniper wolf, and it listed the same person for MGS and MGS the twin snakes...so lets see. But if they DO do that, i'll be pissed, cuz seriously, sniper wolf is the bomb, and one of the reasons she was my fave was cuz of the voice acting.

If you look for Metal Gear Solid on www.imdb.com it says Julie Monroe has only done Metal Gear Solid. I could have sworn she has done other video games but maybe I was just thinking of MGS. Or maybe someone has it misspelled somewhere.

I remeber reading summit and ocelot is now the voice actor from MGS2 i beleive. But yeh i notcied the sniper wolf thing on a screen shot bt Tasia Valenza sounds russian or summit so maybe there going for a authentic voice over.

Russian accents are tight! sorry that was a bit random. I'm learning Russian just cuz i want to beable to speak in an accent. I think my facination with it started with MGS too.

Yeah it's weird I haven't had a change to ask a linguistics expert if it's better to speak with an accent or not. (I guess the idea is to speak in that languages accent, and not a hint of your own.)

I don't believe that the voice actors will have to record all of their lines over again, but perhaps in certain scenes of the game or if The Twin Snakes features some extra scenes, they may be called upon.

Yeah...i guess foreign accents make u hotter...i dig a dude with a Russian or Australian accent. I like to pretend i have accents for the hell of it. I'm going to pull a prank later this month when i go to this camp and convince people that i'm from either England, Ireland or Russia...and try to pull it off...and i have hella friends that will help me do it...and tell people crazy stories about my life in exotic countries. Have u guys ever done that? I rmember me and my friend went to a park one time and talked in british accents so well, that everybody actually believed us...but when somebody asked us what city we lived it...i looked at a car rim and said "Rimton." Hella smart.

They are obviously redoing some of the audio because the voice actors have changed + in the new trailer there is alot of new audio (text) that was not in the original so its either stuff they recorded back when MGS was done but didnt have enough disc space to include it all + they probably had to cut down the cutscenes OR its all new either way we got added/new audio

I watched the whole 27 MIN 'trailer' haha. Still haven't seen any actual game play or CODEC stuff, but some REALLY awesome clips. I was thinking I might give this game as a gift to someone just because it is so great, not really their kinda of game but it will be a great piece of interactive art, just stay true to the story and continue making it better.
