Welcome to the [ Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes ] forum. Before you begin posting and creating new threads, please read over the following set of rules that I have put in place for this particular forum.



Spamming - Spamming in this forum can be defined as posting messages that are completely off topic, creating threads with ridiculously long or misleading titles, purposely starting duplicate threads, and advertising other sites. If you must advertise another site, use your profile or signature. Do not NeoPM members or put links to these sites in their guestbooks. If you see other members spamming a thread, please do not participate in that specific discussion or tell the other members not to spam. Instead, continue on discussing the proper topic, or contact me via [ NeoPM ] so I am aware of the problem.

Flaming - This is a very serious offense to me because not only is it disruptive to the forum, but it usually ends up hurting another person's feelings. People who flame other members are a bad representation of this forum, which ultimately makes me look bad, so please do not start arguments, or get involved with them. If you and another member have a disagreement over something, take the discussion over to NeoPM, AIM or MSN, anything but the forum. Also, keep the swearing to a minimum. I don't mind a few minor swears here or there, but other members might, so abusing my leniency on this issue will result in swift disciplinary action.

Double Posting - This is an incredibly annoying habit to me. If you post a message, then a few minutes later decide you left something out, please do not post again. Instead, you can just as easily use the site's edit feature. Now, don't get it twisted, if a message of yours hasn't been replied to in over a week or something, you may double post then, but only in this situation, no exceptions.

Memberating - This is one of the worst things a member can do as far as I'm concerned. Memberating is the act of impersonating the current moderator by telling other members what to do, where to post or requesting thread closures. Basically, if you memberate, you're making me feel like I don't know how to do my own job, and that isn't fair. If you see inappropriate posts that need to be edited or deleted, do not take it upon yourself to discipline the guilty party, I will take care of that myself. If you want to be helpful, you can let me know about the situation by sending me a [ NeoPM ] or using the report feature.

Bypassing Bans - Hopefully I will not have to ban any of you, but if I find it necessary, please respect my decision and do not try and bypass the ban by either creating a new account or posting as a visitor. My ban policy is that I will usually issue one or two warnings before ever banning anyone, depending on the situation. I consider everyone in the forum to be my friend, so I would hope you all consider me the same, and try not to break any of my rules.

Vulgar Content - This is very important. Never, under any circumstances, post offensive material such as pornographic images or extremely gory pictures. Neoseeker is a website that has visitors of several different age groups, so always keep that in mind. Anyone who abuses this rule in particular will be banned immediately, no questions asked.
